Thomas

For KOA Holiday New Orleans: Awarded 2 stars because the staff was great, but multiple train tracks with hourly horn blasts day and night, as well as, the nearby airport and a NOLa resident on the other side of the 8' property fence who was extremely fond of ear splitting music w/ gut wrenching bass. Imossible to sleep, or enjoy down time at this campground. December, 2017.

RJ

For KOA Holiday New Orleans: I'm not normally a fan of KOA, but for NOLA this was an excellent choice. Only $47 incl tax, free shuttle for daytime (9:00AM depart, 5:45PM pickup), but be sure to tip your driver since they don't ask or hint. Nice clean bathrooms, well-kept pool, great deal on laundry ($2 total wash & dry!), and super friendly staff. $30 cab or a little less Uber for night ride home.

For KOA Holiday New Orleans: Yes it's a ways from town but they shuttle you to the French quarter daily. Very helpful staff. The site was large enough. It is a great park!

Ranger Family

For KOA Holiday New Orleans: One star for the free shuttle offered, the other star is for the five star employee who was really helpful to us. The lack of three stars is because of the following: the location is miles from downtown, making it not easy to visit NOLA. There was the absolute worst train horn noise every night, every hour, incredibly loud. The "dog park" was a fenced in back yard to two rundown homes. The area was a little on the slum side. The site space was a 3ft wide strip of grass to enjoy. The pool was not heated and there were some broken parts probably not up to code. For $45 a night we were less than impressed and would never stay there again.
