For Audubon RV Resort and Campground: My wife and I are full time RV people and have been to countless parks across the country. This is the bottom of the list. Absolutely the worst. The park manager is very unprofessional with his language and workmanship. If you like taking a shower in terrible water pressure then this is your park. We ask, Tommy, the park manager if it could be fixed. All he would say is “well it’s working.” I had him come in my camper to show him and he still would say it’s working. The camp ground is very trashy and often smells like grey/black water tank. If you are coming to Slidell there is another RV park closer to the highway and right beside this park called Pine Crest. I have stayed there and it’s not the best but I’d give it 3 stars. This is the first time I’ve ever given a review but I felt it was worth the warning.

Heather

For Audubon RV Resort and Campground: I wanted to like this park. It was easy enough to reserve a spot if you call and not difficult to get in and out of but that’s where the better parts end. We have had almost no water pressure since being here. We have talked to the manager several times and even after showing him how slow the water was coming into our trailer he said it wasn’t a problem and was working. The park needs to be cleaned up and has parts from old trailers lying around. One evening the park manager screamed, loudly at us as we were entering the park, keep in mind we were going the speed limit of 5 mph staying behind him and never passing him as he’s walking slowly, using profanity to tell us to slow down and extremely sarcastic saying there was a speed limit. We have a turbo that winds up loudly when you have to go over a speed bump in the park. If you’re riding your break because your vehicle idles faster than five you have to press on the gas to get over the many speed bumps but I can assure you we never flew through this park or any other. We will not return when working in the area. There are parks that are much better maintained and polite than this one.

For Audubon RV Resort and Campground: Takes Tommy all day to clean bathhouse. Owners don't care Wi-Fi is out half of the time.lots are flooded when it rains speed bumps are really high the only time you see the owners is rent day.

Linda

For Audubon RV Resort and Campground: Could not leave a negative rating, Imo this is one of the worst campgrounds I’ve ever stayed in and I have been camping for 60 plus years. IMO it was filthy and bug infested, the one bath house that was open only had one stall for showering and it was for both sexes, the shower area was scattered with roaches and smelled really bad, the laundry area was open to the outside and filled with bugs who knows what else was hiding in there! They advertised this place a resort with pool.... sure it had a pool but water was optional,we were promised since Saturday night that the pool would be ready tomorrow, well 3 tomorrows later the pool still was not ready. when confronting the owner all she had to say was.. your not getting a discount... and what are you gonna do, leave? Of course my answer was yes we are, then her reply was well bye, great way to run a business! IMO I would not recommend this “resort “ to anyone unless you are a hermit and will stay holed up in your self sufficient rig, not venturing out for anything but to leave! IMO I have NOT exaggerated one thing, in fact I’ve been quite nice on here.

For Audubon RV Resort and Campground: Staff is very friendly. Guided us to the spot after a late night arrival. Sites are level and spread out a bit.

For Audubon RV Resort and Campground: Nice place about a half mile from I-10. Staff was away and office closed while we were there, though someone came out to lead us to our site. Listing said cable TV but we had none. Very narrow side-by-side sites. We could almost touch the adjacent 5th wheel. Worst thing was the speed bumps-narrow, steep and jarring to our motorhome even at a speed that stopped the rear wheels

For Audubon RV Resort and Campground: Where I checked in it smelled very strong of cat piss I have never smelt it so bad, also I could not get out fast enough it was so filthy. Putt putt golf course under water. Sewage backed up noted. Toward the restrooms one could tell many RV's have lived there a long time and don't care how their area looks. I am sure pool not functioning. Very muddy when there with the rains. Could not leave the place quick enough. For Mardi Gras I was quoted $50 got there it was $55
