For Sturbridge RV Resort: First the positives: The place was easy to find and had a nice sign. Things went wrong after that. I preregistered online requesting a 50 amp spot with full hook ups for an RV size 38 feet towing a car. We were stopped before the registration office with no names on the paper scribble the Park Agent had. Luckily I keep photos of my registration and pulled that up only to be told this camp was first come first serve and only 1 spot was left and he thought we would fit. The spot would maybe fit a 28foot rig and would stick out; in addition the camper behind the site pulled across the divide shrinking the site even more. That person was away and it looked like the camper had been there a while. We were allowed to use the waste deposit while two park guides discussed trying to squeeze us into a 30 foot spot- um, no. This site houses lots of seasonal long term people and they really spread out in their space. This place gave away its size appropriate spots to day of arrivals, leaving a preregistered guest out of luck. No way will I even consider a return. A final note, the online registrar and the campsite really need to communicate.

For Sturbridge RV Resort: Only one word for it. Awful. We were assigned a site, drove by it and left the campground. End to end. Side to side barely room to open a door.

For Sturbridge RV Resort: Typical 1000 Trails park in that most of the good sites are sold as annual or seasonal sites. We were fortunate enough to be assigned one of the very few good remaining sites but felt really bad for everyone else.

Really, really tight - back to back and end to end in the space that most would consider a pull through site.

There is a pool, a lake, mini golf etc. so there are some facilities.

We enjoyed Old Sturbridge Village Museum a lot, but now that we've seen it, we won't come back to this park.

For Sturbridge RV Resort: If you have a rig over 28 ft. forget it, unless you want to be packed in like sardines.
