For Oak Haven Family Campground: Quite the little gem. We stayed here for one night on our way back to CT from ME. The campground is a nice, quiet family campground with spots both in two fields and in the woods. There’s a lovely pool, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, pavilion and rec building. The facility is well taken care of, there are many seasonal campers who have taken great care to groom and manicure their sites and the rigs look well kept. Would definitely return to stay longer.

For Oak Haven Family Campground: We stayed here 4 nights. The sites are gravel, but quite large. Nice quiet campground. The staff was friendly. WIFI worked good at our site. I would give them 5 stars, but there is no cable.

Dan

For Oak Haven Family Campground: Overall decent campground that appears to be mostly seasonal/permanent sites. Only real issue is the showers: they are coin operated, which seems silly given the rate for the campsites. The meters on the showers are clearly marked 25 cents for 9 minutes. But 25 cents does not start the shower. The meters require 50 cents. Nothing on the check-in form said the showers were coin-operated, so that was one extra walk back to the campsite. Incorrect signage resulted in further trouble trying to take a simple shower. Overall this isn't a big deal, but the campground staff was less than friendly when called to find out why the showers didn't work. Just a tiny bit of effort, either putting up proper signs, putting information in the rules sheet or both, would have avoided this.

kethering

For Oak Haven Family Campground: There is no 50 amp service here. The voltage in the 30 amp spot we were in dropped so low it tripped our protector gizmo and everything shut off. It's too hot not to have a.c. so we decided to leave. They refunded our money with no hassle.
