Nancy Ringland

For Flaggs RV Resort: Location is all that “Flaggs RV Resort” offers! If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind, Flaggs isn’t that place. Don’t let Mike and Nancy’s phony facades fool you! They have no interpersonal skills nor do they have a clue about how to be a host. The park isn’t about the residents it is ALL about Mike and Nancy having complete control and being the center of attention. They run the campground like a detention facility, constantly patrolling the campground, and spying on the residents from their balcony. We met some great people during our 3 year stay, unfortunately Mike and Nancy are mean spirited adult bullies who need anger management counseling.

For Flaggs RV Resort: I have never written a review for anyone but I find the need to describe how wonderful we have been treated at this RV park. We travel the United States every year for at least 6 months so we have stayed at just about every type of park at almost every state in our great country. The owner’s went out of their way to treat us like we were family. They helped us with a qualified repair man to work on our Motorhome. We have never had anyone at a RV park treat us with the caring that these owners gave us. The park is right by a beautiful beach and is extremely clean and quite, all of our neighbors were friendly. We stayed here on our way to Acadia and liked it so much we stayed on our way back to Arizona. If you like a safe clean park with a beautiful beach you should stay here.

Cindy

For Flaggs RV Resort: There is nothing worse on someone traveling than to have someone tell you they don’t have a reservation for you! We made the four day reservations a month earlier as we are full time RVers traveling up through Maine in the month of August. The Owner had given me her and her husband’s name and told me we would have to unload our motorcycle at the office and keep it parked there while I was on the phone which I had said fine. When we pulled into the camp a little after 1pm with our 43 ft toy hauler the first thing she said to me was “you’re early”. Not hello or how are you? Then she asked my name and said she did not have a reservation for me. Some places send email confirmations and some do not and so I was not worried because she took my credit card information for the deposit. Everyone makes mistakes but what was so bad about the owner Nancy was that she was blaming me for not making sure I had an email confirmation and even though she said she remembered telling me about parking the motorcycle at the office she told her husband she didn’t remember talking to me. I was not getting a phone signal so I was going to have to use her office phone to call a place down the road on my Allstays App. Then the owner decided she would call and walked outside to talk but I could still hear her and she told the other RV place that she doesn’t remember talking to me! That was the last straw! This woman lies to cover her mistakes and doesn’t own up to it which is not ethical so I would not have wanted to stay there especially for the price. You are packed in like sardines and very tight, no phone reception but as we left we got phone service again. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We went up the road to York Beach Camper Park which was not as clean but very nice and $30/night less. Super nice owner!

Larry

For Flaggs RV Resort: Less than a 5 min walk to Long Beach near York Harbor, this is a very nice location to explore the lower Maine coast. CG is well maintained but caters almost exclusively to seasonal people and hookups tend to be located for that purpose. Spaces are tight with little privacy but generally level. Good internet but no cable and very limited antenna reception

For Flaggs RV Resort: The campground caters to permanent site holders. The sites are small. Our awning was up against the next RV. They allow dogs but you have to walk the dog outside the campground. The owner will challenge you if you’re not moving fast enough to the exit. The neighbors must love this.

For Flaggs RV Resort: This is a wonderful place to stay. The sites are large, the place well kept, and the people friendly. Lyn, the manager was very helpful and a joy to talk with. The beach is a short walk from the park. Cape Neddick ,Nubble, light is easily accessible from Flaggs.
Very quiet and comfortable. We will stay here again.
