For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: Plenty of availability but sites are small, narrow and uneven. Only a couple of sites will accommodate larger RVs and those were booked in advance. Very quiet and peaceful. Police patrol every evening which was comforting. Bring an extension cord because some of the electrical pedestals are set far back in the site. But I would definitely stay here again.

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: Senior is >60 and costs $13 with water and 30 amp electric. Easy access to DC transport. Would not recommend using the shower. Sign in across the street at main park before 3 pm

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: Our family stayed here during our recent vacation to the DC area. The reviews by others are largely accurate. Overall it’s a great value. $23 per night for our of towners. We’d come backs again. It sure beats the $75 or so of RV resorts with more amenities and further from DC. The camp ground is very wooded and quiet. We were the only people there for most of our 4 night stay. The bathrooms are not the nicest, but they work. Most of the sites are Far from level, but they are paved. We have an RV, so it worked out ok. However, the sites are all very gravely and not level. It might not be the best spot for tent camping. It’s a 15 minute drive to the Metro, great for our plans.

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: We agree with many of the other reviewers...the small camp ground has pluses and minuses. Pluses: 1. Close to the Branch Ave metro station! This was great and made getting around very easy! 2. It’s not heavily used. We were there six nights in mid-May and it never filled up. 3. Electric, water and garbage at every site. 4. Paved sites. 5. Cell coverage (ATT and Verizon) was good. 6. Very inexpensive for the area. Minuses: 1. Showers and bathrooms were very dirty! 2. Most sites were not level. 3. Picnic tables were in bad shape. 4. There were no sewer hook-ups and the dump station was gross and overflowing. We would stay here again because of it’s proximity to the city and other sights. After all, most of us go to DC to see things, not to hang out at the campground!

James Loaris

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: This is a very nice simple campground just outside of Clinton MD and six miles from the Branch Avenue Metro station. If you are a senior the cost is half price for all. Should you want to visit the D.C. area this is a good place to stay.

For Louise F Cosca Regional Park: This is a very nice park in the Washington DC area. Many sites were available in mid-July, even on the weekend. I have a motorhome, and it was a $30 Uber ride to the the mall- but the rates were are very reasonable and so it was still a bargain, especially in this area. If you have a vehicle and can drive to the city, it's even better! Highly recommended ? Carolyn in the office is very nice.
