For Martinak State Park: Very well maintained state park. Spacious sites, asphalt pads, only electric, no water hookups. A great place to stay if you are visiting the area.

For Martinak State Park: Down at the amphitheater in martinak State Park there is a bed board on the dock leaving out to the Pavilion over the water. Probably someone will turn an ankle on that bed board sooner or later.
Next, you know as well as I do that someone will want to level a lawsuit on the state.

Sugarcreek
For Martinak State Park: Clean bathrooms. Wooded sites. Quiet yet close to restaurants, Walmart, etc. Tent camped here twice and was not crowded either time. Some traffic noise from highway. Park used mostly by locals for boat ramp, picnics, walking. You can kayak or canoe several miles up Watts Creek.

For Martinak State Park: Nice little state park campground. Beautiful level sites--very clean. Great helpful staff. Off season rates for RVs half price.

For Martinak State Park: Excellent Small State Park with wooded sites. Clean bath facilities. Super Walmart close by. Stayed two nights Sept 2014.
