Just a Camper

For Greenbelt Park Campground: Excellent campground considering price and proximity to DC. We walked 1.8 mile to metro. Very doable. Showers are okay, nothing special (only one for about 50 campsites) All in all best place to stay if Washington DC is your destination. 2 bars LTE from T-Mobile.

Claire Collard

For Greenbelt Park Campground: Auto-translation: For the price and the location, this is the best. This is our second stay here and we notice a laissez-go to the level of sanitary facilities as it was dirty in our magnifying glass B. The forest is beautiful! The Metro is close by and the weekend, the subway parking is free.

Sabbatical

For Greenbelt Park Campground: 5 stars for price and location. $20 per night. Subway to Washington DC College Park station is 2.5 mile walk or 10 minute drive from campground. Sites on inside of loop B are flat. Some sites on outside of loop B have a significant slope. Only 1 shower stall per gender in loop B.

Pajunk

For Greenbelt Park Campground: So we were about to stay few days here in DC and this park seemed to be great for us. first day (Friday) we arrived around 12pm and simply found open side with nobody there and nice privacy. we hang ours towels to dry and filled up envelop and put in to drop off box as always.we left label from envelop by the side as always so people know that side is taken. at evening we came back from DC and ours stuff was gone and some lady took ours side. she said she didnt see any label by the post were we left it(yellow paper was gone) and she took ours towels and belongings and put in her car. we call host and he was trying to fix it but nothing worked and we had to find some other spot. next day we did the same (envelop and money in drop off box and left) we came back at 10pm (dark) and same situation again but different person. so again we had to go and get different side. i am very disappointed of behaving people here by DC. park has too many sides out of level so make sure your will be leveled when you call for registration. also showers need some work. grill by ours side was broken a parts.

Chanty

For Greenbelt Park Campground: Beautiful forested park walking distance to Metro to DC. Pads are uneven and showers are so- so, but for the cost, beauty of the park and convenience to DC, this is a gem.

Mili
