For Pumpkin Patch RV Resort: Great park in Hermon, Maine. Sites are large and consist of pull throughs and back-ins. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful flowers are every where. Bathroom/showers are maintained at the highest level, very clean and everything works. As a bonus two laundry facilities are on site, spotless as well. Friendly service is the mantra at Pumpkin Patch, from the owners and through the staff you will find everyone friendly and eager to make your stay comfortable. The Patch always has something going on in the Activity Center, during this season, they had potluck dinners, ice cream socials, art lessons, NL Texas Holdem Poker, Trivia, Pancake Breakfasts, and a Chili Cook Off. The park was very quiet at night, and there was a restaurant close, within easy walking distance.

Doug

For Pumpkin Patch RV Resort: Very nice park. Gravel roads and sites and well maintained. Mix of pull thru and back in. The pull thrus appear to have fire pits but most back ins do not. Friendly staff and very reasonable pricing. Deliveries accepted and they will bring to your site. Restrooms and laundry clean and working order. Small dog run with toys! Game area with ring toss, corn Hoke, etc. On the outskirts of Bangor so everything is fairly convenient. We’d stay here again.

Patsy

For Pumpkin Patch RV Resort: This is a great park for those without children who like peace and quiet. Well maintained, level sites, all amenities. We really loved this campground. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the laundry facilities are cramped and not air conditioned. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

Will

For Pumpkin Patch RV Resort: I stayed for 7 days at the end of July in a 30 amp travel trailer with water and electric for $233. The whole place is a well laid out level field with a few trees. Should be very easy for anybody to park. Most spots are gravel pullout. I was placed in grass across from shower rooms. Family restaurant in front, had a good lobster roll, slaw and fries for about $16 and looked like it had a small crowd every night. Laundry was $1.50 for 30 minute wash and $1.50 for 60 minute dryer at 2 buildings with I think 2 washers and dryers each. Had about 60 cable channels, WiFi worked well. They have a few items for sale if you forgot/break something.

There is a RV dealer about 8 minutes toward Bangor with a large selection of repair items. About 10 minutes away is a movie theater with about 10 screens with current movies for $5. It looked questionable from the outside but it was just fine. A more updated theater is at Bangor Mall about 20 minutes away but will cost more for the same selection. The Bangor Mall is a bit dated but has typical mall stores.

My spot had a metal/plastic picnic table but I don't think you can do campfires, or at least not at my spot. At night it is pretty dark and quiet.

It's a bit over 1hr to Bar Harbor but you need to get there early as limited parking. Most street side parking is 2hrs but there is a small parking lot at town center with 3hr parking starting at 10am and with a restroom and public WiFi. Get in at 8am will give you 5 hrs. Plenty of time to do a morning cruise like the 4 masted schooner sail I did for 2 hrs. Unfortunately, morning winds are poor so not fast sailing.
