For Bass Harbor Campground: We really enjoyed this campground with a nice mix of tent & RV camping. Great location to venture out from. Some sites cramped for big RVs. Front desk helpful & knowledgeable about where to buy lobster & locations of dog parks. Unpretenwith good amount of restrooms + laundry , etc. Weak WI-FI. We would return.

For Bass Harbor Campground: The problem with this campground it is very cramped very small not big rig friendly and could use some updating and cleaning up need more 50 amp services owner is very nice but they don’t keep the grounds nice laundry room is terrible washer and dryer‘s don’t work that’s why I gave it a one star the only thing it’s got going for it is location that’s it

For Bass Harbor Campground: The only thing good about this campground is the location across the street from the Bass Harbor light house. Expensive ... got charged the”deluxe season” rate in late June. Typical private campground poorly run, greedy, sites practically on top Of each other, water went out in the middle of laundry, water smelled bad, reservation never recorded when booked so got worst site in back down hill soggy had terrible time getting out at end. Camp communication terrible after they made the mistake of not assigning me a numbered site once they did the next morning I got treated like an intruder someone woke me up and knocked on my door next day. Then the elderly male staff person rudely commented uninvitedly mansplained that my dog was too fat and I should walk her more. She is elderly and on medications that make her ravenous. Not that it was any of his business but he chose to insult my care of my own dog. WiFi in this deluxe sight barely worked and cable wasn’t even hooked up. When I asked for slight $ discount 10$ for a whole week the answer was a rude No. Do not go if it can be avoided.

For Bass Harbor Campground: First this is $$$ only!
This camp was nice and clean with pool.
tent sides are little bit to close to each other. game room is just joke and tv room also. it is like 100 years old. place is packed during summer but all good.
Restroom OK and laundry also.

Bus stop for free around island! fire rings but no grill!
