For Warren Island State Park: Had a great weekend camping. Read the last review and brought a saw, wish to have also brought an ace for wood. There was lots of wood cut into big rounds and limbs to use a saw on. There were very friendly park rangers there. Such a unique camping experience. We paddled from lincolnville in ocean kayaks, which I’d recommend only for experienced paddlers. Take the ferry to islesboro and it’s just a five minute paddle across protected water. Highly highly recommend the clams from the snack hop at the islesboro side of the ferry.

For Warren Island State Park: Beautiful campground/sites !! But, there was No camp fire wood to be bought as was advertised on the web site .We were made aware that there was a saw we could borrow. Also there are several posters telling you do not bring firewood from off the island. Thankfully we brought propane grills for our cooking, Also, there was only 1 water faucet available, that is a few feet from the end of the dock also different from the web site. I hope the web site gets updated to reflect these changes
