For Conestoga Grand River Campground: Payment by credit cards are charged an additional 5%. Site was gravel and unlevel. Gravel roadway with lots of dust. Nice children’s playground and ice cream concession. Our site had a view of the river. Because of the high credit card surcharge we will not return.

For Conestoga Grand River Campground: We had reservations here in August 2017. Found the sites OK. Lots of permanent sites. Looked a little junky. Problem was voltage. We needed to run our AC's. When we tested the voltage with our volt meter, it was not sufficient. We had already paid. Luckily they did refund our money.

For Conestoga Grand River Campground: I'm a full-time web developer that works remotely, so internet access is key. The owner of the campground appears to not be around, relying instead on others that manage the front desk of the park.

Internet is not presently working, due to a disconnected account with their ISP, so I've got to rely on my own hotspot. Once the owner is around I should get a chance to talk to him about it, according to the front desk.

There are many people with seasonal spots at the campground, but it's been quiet throughout the week. Most spots aren't as level as they should be (we've got a 36' rig) and we had trouble leveling out on two of the spots. We had originally requested a spot with 50 amp service, but it appears that only odd-numbered spots have 50 amp service. The one I'm presently at has 30 amp service, which is sufficient for now.

The road down to the boat dock/waterfront needs some work and is very steep. "riverfront spots" aren't actually "on" the water, but rather on a ridge overlooking the river. It makes for a great view, but not as advertised.
