For Indigo Bluffs Resort: Obviously all the good reviews are from people in Class A motorhomes or huge 5th wheels as they are the only rigs allowed into the GATED resort section. We were not allowed in with our brand new 30’ Airstream. The low class campground half features sites close together with zero landscaping. The resort section looks wonderful, but don’t bother if you are in a trailer.

For Indigo Bluffs Resort: This is a very well run family campground. The sites are large (for private) and shaded nicely. Hookups are a little farther than your cords will reach but the campground will supply extensions for free if you need it. The bathrooms/shower house are clean and well stocked. Pool and common areas are also clean and well taken care of. Cell service is great (Verizon) and the campground does offer WiFi. It’s a close drive to some of the areas attractions. I would absolutely stay here again.

Greg Prystash

For Indigo Bluffs Resort: I can't say enough about this place. The web sight doesn't do it justice. Their staff is friendly and so helpful. They are constantly working to keep that place running like a well oiled machine. They will deliver campfire wood right to your camp sight. They have "honey wagons" if you need them everyday. All the sights we say had cement pads for your picnic area. The store is well stocked with most everything you may run out of or need. There are many things to do in the area, Sleepy Bear Dunes, Platte River, Crystal River and close to many other things. The pool area was always clean. A very family friendly park. Even with all the kids it was still a quiet park. We can't wait to book a return trip.

Ray

For Indigo Bluffs Resort: Currently staying in resort section. Very nice sites, stamped Concrete. No cable, and tv signal comes and goes. Best station is from Wisconsin. Satellite signal depends on site. Site 21 has 0 sat signal and almost no uhf stations. Otherwise very nice site. Laundry room is great in new lounge house. We would stay again.

For Indigo Bluffs Resort: Awesome park. Full hookups, nice bathrooms, good general store. Pads are well spaced. Nice park like setting. Short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, and lots of fresh fruit stands. We only stayed for two nights but wish we had stayed longer. Would definitely stay here again. Y

Rick

For Indigo Bluffs Resort: This resort will be 5 star when they finish the club house and finish landscaping the new campsites. It is beautifully laid out with very spacious sites but a number of them are quite raw ours was one of them. Facilities are at check in as of this post, a long walk!

For Indigo Bluffs Resort: Stayed at the campground side vs resort side. Checkin staff friendly and very efficient. Escorted to site and staff was very helpful and offered to help hook up. Full hook up, pull through, 50 amp site (#321) in the newer section of the campground. Access roads and pull through well maintained gravel. Site was level with a concrete patio pad. The site was a nice long pull through. Good spacing between sites. Site drained well during a very heavy thunderstorm. They have not planted grass in the areas between the sites (reason for 4 vs 5 stars). Excellent utilities with stable power, good water pressure. Back-in sites in new area could be a challenge for larger 5th wheels. There are two rows of back-ins that access from the same access road. The deeper site requires a long back-in with tight turns through trees. Certainly doable but it will require some good back up skills with experienced observer. The bonus though is the back row sites all face the woods .... very private.

Older area of campground is just that .... older. Large grass sites some with sewer. All sites appear to have gang power and water so be sure to have a lot of hose and power cords. Fairly well maintained.

Stayed here in July 2017 in a 5th Wheel. Would stay again.
