James

For Frankenmuth Jellystone Park: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Frankenmuth Jellystone Park. Getting to the campground was good. The roads in the campground are paved and gravel and are in good condition. The trees seem to be trimmed back so not to hit the RV. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. They have a small camp store. There is a large parking area at the office. No escort to the site but the map and signs are good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 338, a back in site with a gravel drive and gravel patio area. There are no good views of anything, but the campground is pleasant and has nice grounds and forest. Our site was not level. The site was dry. There are a few seasonal folks but all look in good condition. We did not use the bathhouse, but they looked nice. There is a large pool and a hot tub. No rec room. No workout fitness room. No deli on site. The grounds are nice. No cable tv. Wifi was good. OK Verizon cell service. Many of the standard sites are very close to each other and we would not recommend any of them. Here is the bad: Site not level, No good views, Many sites way too close. I would come back. Tim

For Frankenmuth Jellystone Park: Very clean and taken care of. The spots are small but every campground has its faults. Bathrooms were clean buildings are maintained and the staff is very nice. I would stay here again if I came back to this aera

Mark

For Frankenmuth Jellystone Park: Trash/litter/cigarette butts/used drinking straws/chicken bones scattered across the site. No cable TV. Prices in line with Ft Wilderness at Disney World but this is no Ft Wilderness. Two stars for size of site and closeness to town. Staff was nice at check-in.

Robin

For Frankenmuth Jellystone Park: Nice store and super friendly staff. Good place for kids. My initial site was a muddy mess, so they let me move. EXTREMELY narrow sites You have to pay more for a larger site, which is a more normal size at other parks. I asked for late checkout so we could go get lunch. After 4pm you pay for an entire night. I checked out at 4:45 and asked for a break, since it was Sunday and the park was less than 1/4 full. They did and only charged $25. I didn’t use the pool or hot tub, only due to lack of time. Again nice staff and great place for kids! Dropped two stars due to small spots.

Inmate Showers

For Frankenmuth Jellystone Park: If you have your own shower, you’re in good shape. Both bath houses have Inmate Showers, commonly found in jails and prisons. By this I mean you have one push button that gives you about 15 seconds of water pressure, which is pre mixed. You have no control over the temperature of the water. In addition, your “shower head” is fixed in both location and mist. By mist I mean very similar to a Home Depot plant section that has water misting on their annuals. Can you tell the showers left a bad taste with me? The park is very nice and somewhat expensive. For the money you pay, I expect nicer showers. The indoor pool was nice as was the hot tub. The location is great for a short walk to town or Bronners. WiFi was typical campground WiFi. Laundry was $2.75/ $.25/12 minutes for dryers. Very good ATT signal.

Karen

For Frankenmuth Jellystone Park: Nice park-very well maintained, BUT, our site was very small. We were less than 10' from the RV next to us! Also, if you want to have a campfire, bring your own "off the ground" container...or pay $38 to buy one of theirs. Great location, & very quiet. Two nice pools-1 indoor & 1outside. Would stay there again, but try to get a larger "deluxe" site.

KC

For Frankenmuth Jellystone Park: we stayed in a larger deluxe site which is much bigger. Nice site but very expensive.
