For Kalkaska Campgrounds: Great spot! This RV/campground is retro in the best sense. If you want a big rig, full hook-up site you can have it. But if you want a more rustic setting you can have that as well. Many beautiful big trees, complete with a half-mile trail through the woods at the back of the campground. The place is scrupulously clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Good wifi available for small fee, Honey wagon available if you don’t have full hookups. Close enough to Traverse City to go do touristy things. Highly recommend!

For Kalkaska Campgrounds: Nice family run park. New ownership when we visited in July 19. Very accommodating. Sites a bit tough to get into but all services worked and site was level enough. Would definitely come back.

Jim

For Kalkaska Campgrounds: Beautiful wooded camp under new family ownership. Very friendly. New owners are open to good suggestions, and are proactive in planning/making improvements, such as: Leveling the parking for RV’s, upgrading the electrical system, etc. I would definitely stay here again.

Sunseeker

For Kalkaska Campgrounds: Nice out of the beaten path park. Spent three nights and used as base camp for sites in northern Michigan. About an hour from Sleeping Dunes National Park and 45 minutes from Charlevoix. Friendly family run business. Took a bit to level up but enjoyed the stay.

Marty

For Kalkaska Campgrounds: Took my grandkids because they wanted a pool. The pool here is clean and heated, although small. Campground clean and quiet. Also walking trails. Would have given 5 stars but their online reservation system doesn't allow for Good Sam discount. That means I paid extra for the reservation AND lost out on the discount.
