For Wild Cherry RV Park: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Wild Cherry Resort. Getting to the campground was OK, but you do travel through Traverse City which is a very busy tourist town and has some narrow streets. The roads in the campground are paved and in good condition. The trees are trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. No camp store. There is a large parking area near the office. No escort to site but was given a map. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 86, a pull in site with a gravel drive and cement patio area, with a picnic table. The site had a good view of the pond. Our site was level. The site was dry. The campground has a few seasonal folks, but you do not notice them. There is no bathhouse and laundry room. No pool. No rec room. No workout fitness room. No deli on site. The grounds are beautiful. No cable tv. No over air antenna. OK Wifi, but no streaming. Poor Verizon cell service. Here is the bad. Limited Wifi & no cable. No pool or recreation facility. I would come back. I like sites 80 thru 87 and 88 thru 99. Sites 59 thru 64 are also nice. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Wild Cherry RV Park: We stayed at this campground for 3 days in August 2023. There is an upper and lower area and we stayed in the lower level. We had zero internet, cell service and could only receive 2 tv stations that were pretty much unwatchable . There was a cell tower right next to our rig, but still got nothing . That part was miserable. We travel and live in our rig full time and depend on good cell service . We were also not a fan of how many ants and ant mounds were everywhere. They could try to control them for the price they ask for those sites. We were happy to leave and would not stay again due those issues .

Meridian Traveler

For Wild Cherry RV Park: Super place here in Northern Michigan . Beautiful grass areas, good size lots, wifi actually worked well via my king wifi booster , a plus. Level area and nice cement patio on our site. Clean, tidy, great staff. Highly recommended . Probably hard to get in as I suspect summer fills up this park with seasonal residents .

Anne

For Wild Cherry RV Park: We have stayed at Wild Cherry at least 8 times over the years. We absolutely love it! Widely spaced camp spots with concrete patios, picnic tables and in ground fire ring. Full hooks along the lake is our favorite spot. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. No amenities beyond that but so easy to get to Sutton’s Bay, Glen Arbor, Lake Leelanau and Leland. Jim, owner, is soo nice and the work campers are very helpful. We hope to be able to stay again!

Mark

For Wild Cherry RV Park: Beautiful this time of year with full view of the surrounding trees in full color. Sits a bit in a valley with a small body of water. Ducks and geese. Neighbors Irish Setter loves chasing and we would chuckle watching. Convenient to several wineries. Leland and Sutton’s Bay just a short drive. We went over to Empire Bluffs Trails (1/2 hr drive) to hike and watch the bald eagles along the lake shore. Internet provided by grounds was just enough to stream a movie (but very few people there to suck up bandwidth). Would like to see faster speeds installed. Good AT&T connection too with about 10 Mpbs down. OTA TV reception would bring in enough channels. Price is a bit rich for no pool, bath house, slow internet and no cable tv. Would frequent more if not so expensive. (Came here cause other grounds closed on a Saturday).

Patti Young

For Wild Cherry RV Park: we found wild cherry RV resort to be very quiet and pretty. However no amineties available. Wi fi is hit and miss. No public restrooms or showers. I found their people to be personable and friendly. Maybe $75 is too much for a place to park.

Kayaker

For Wild Cherry RV Park: The tent section is actually large, as they have 10 very nice wooded sites with a porta potty and a separate tent shower with on-demand heated water. The sites in the RV section are huge and beautiful, complete with a paved patio. We never use a bathhouse, so the fact they didn't have one was ok with us. The huge draws to this place were the perfect location, the beauty of the park and the total lack of road noise. We will definitely return.
