For Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping: Lovely, spacious campground on the lake. Nice staff with efficient and kind checkin. Plenty of activities nearby. Shuttle to Mackinaw ferries. Would definitely stay here again. We overnight in many campgrounds as we travel to national parks. Glad this was a good one! Reasonable price.

For Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping: I bordered on three stars because of some issues but really the experience and views are hard to beat so they will get four stars. First thing is the front office staff has an attitude, I’m sorry your only job is greeting and checking in- quit if you don’t like it- otherwise shut your mouth and do what you’re being paid for. Secondly- these sites are ontop of each other; if you’re not getting pull thru or lake view I would not recommend camping here. The campground is dirt/gravel with zero enforcement of the speed limit, I don’t have children so I don’t really care but they kick up a lot of dust driving through at high speeds. There are lake front campfire rings that are first come first serve, rhey people camping behind them often try to claim them- but that was settled easily but just telling them to go away. You get a lot of yuppie Chicago and New York people who have a sense of entitlement, they are easily dealt with. My main issue is the staff, the store staff is amazing and helpful but as far as the front office or any camp ground related issues- once they have your money you’d better just keep quiet.

For Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping: Wow, big campground, pay attention to the campground map. A large variety of sites and your impression might depend on the type that you chose. Very nice lakefront access and views. The cabins look great, BTW.

For Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping: First time camping here in an RV. I have camped here many times over the years with my family in a pop up. We were in a spot between two tent sites that was so small it barely would fit our RV. Very little privacy. However great views of bridge and island make up for it. Great playground. Beach in the bay is much improved from years past. Camp store is convenient but sky high prices. Very close to town and lumber jack show. Great place for kids. Waited almost an hour at the dump station when leaving though so may not want to wait to leave right at checkout time.

For Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping: This is a large campground. Quite a long Check-In line when we arrived. It went very quickly thanks to multiple Check-In windows. Campsites could use a bit of maintenance at this price point. Fire ring and picnic table provided. We had a large 50 amp site. Nice facilities but no laundry. Beautiful scenery at the campgrounds well kept shoreline. Great view of the bridge. WiFi is very good and free. If Streaming WiFi is desired it’s an extra cost. I got 3 free TV channels with standard roof antenna. Free shuttle to the Mackinaw ferry dock. Five minutes to downtown shops and restaurants. We’d stay here again.

For Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping: This is a great campground. One large bathhouse but very clean. For the sites not close to it, it would be a long walk. Many sites have lake views, and all sites are close to the water. Staff is constantly doing maintenance, and keep the place nice. Sites are close together, but that’s the case in many campgrounds. Nice pool, playgrounds, dog parks, and a free shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry. Great stay.

For Mackinaw Mill Creek Camping: Big place with one central restroom/shower building for 600 sites...a long hike...but clean. Office staff has attitude. Store folks very nice
