For Orchard Beach State Park: Beautifully taken care of. Epic view if you have the right spot. Very peaceful, not much action. No beach access at the campground but beach is a mile away. Town not super accessible unless you have a car or ebikes.

For Orchard Beach State Park: Pleasant little state park a couple of miles from Manistee, MI. Most sites are larger and 30A at all sites. No water or sewer on campsites, but a new dump station and free fill for campers. No T-Mobile or Verizon signal, other campers report ATT at 2 bars. Despite the name, there is no beach available as the high water has washed away the stairs down the bluff, but the city of Manistee has a nice public beach with concessions and fire rings several miles away.

For Orchard Beach State Park: We we looking for a campground in the general area to spend one night as we traveled through this part of MI. We're self-contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed on a weeknight in July.

This is a very nice campground on a bluff over Lake Michigan. There are lake views in several places in the campground. The staff were friendly and helpful. The sites are in an open space interspersed with large trees for shade. There is a good selection of sites - shady, sunny, different hookups, views. There is no wifi. ATT and Verizon signals are good. There's a pleasant 2-mile trail around the campground, including along the lake. There's a small swim area at the bottom of a stairway from the top of the bluff to the lake.
