For Marquette Tourist Park: Apparently we got the last site for our 18 foot Winnebago campervan. Site is ok, but of course swallows us up. Not far from gent campers and has electric , which enabled us to us a/c to drown out noise and keep the campfire smoke from others outdoors. Bathrooms aren't far but really need improvements for how the shower water flows into the toilet are for others. Makes it all nasty since a lot of dirt at this campground. There could be remedies for the shower facility and the water everywhere! People at office are efficient and courteous. This CG does have some charm, especially by the water and also over in the big rig area with the pines. Our site was 35 with electric, $40, 1st of August.

For Marquette Tourist Park: Staff is friendly and helpful, Big rig friendly . Sites are poorly arranged , you want to bring extra water hose and sewer hose to make some of the connections. Park is very clean, showers and bathrooms not so much . The wifi was pretty much none existent unless beside office if that’s a concern for you

For Marquette Tourist Park: 05/28/2023 The park is laid out poorly some sites are OK most are a little strange. The park is situated about one block from northern Michigan University and adjacent to the city maintenance garage therefore it can be subject to equipment noise early in the morning on some days. Campfires are allowed and some fire rings are very close to neighbors so if you don't like smoke in your eyes you may be unhappy with your location. For some reason the powers that be seen fit to jack rates to $47-$57 this year so that is a consideration. We will be cutting back on visits. Seems campgrounds everywhere are taking advantage of inflation to gouge customers. Won't stop until campgrounds are empty! Another consideration is there are very large trees at most sites so if that would be a problem beware. Not to be totally negative, the bike and walking trail that winds through the city is near by!

For Marquette Tourist Park: We stayed June 22-25, 2021 in our 40' motorhome with tow vehicle. It was an okay park. The staff was very nice. The bath house was clean. The sites are laid out poorly. What looks to be your water hook up is not, at least on site 86. The electric box is sometimes one run your neighbors site. All hook ups are spread apart so you have to park strategically. The park was no where full, yet after two days we had to move to a new site. I don't understand why they don't just put the new person in an empty site, instead of making us move. We heard this is common from a few of our neighbors. Also, I was a bit irritated when we had to pay $10 to check in early. Even though the site was empty. The park is next to an industrial site, so we heard trucks and equipment starting early in the morning, and throughout the day. We were not impressed with this park, and will not be back. We camped at Marquette Tourist Park in a Motorhome.

Captain Dan

For Marquette Tourist Park: Very pleasant park close to the university and the shores of Lk Superior. Bike trails abound in Marquette and I was able to cycle over to and around Presque Isle Park. $30-35 nightly seem a bit expensive for a city run campground, but staff was friendly and had maps available. Would definitely stay here again and longer.

For Marquette Tourist Park: Staff very pleasant and helpful. Very family oriented. Even though there were only a few bathroom/shower combos, they were immaculate. Lots of things to do.

Larry

For Marquette Tourist Park: Staff were very pleasant to work with. We ended up in a 30 amp site. Only a few with 50. The sewer connection was 10 inches above ground. The biggest reason we will never go back was their power system. Only had 114 on each leg at first but when it got warm and ac was running the power dropped to 100 per leg. We unplugged and ran our generator. Why pay $35 per night?
