For Munising Tourist Park Campground: Great campground on the lake. We were only able to get a spot for 1 night but it was a great stopover after boondocking for 4 days at the National Lakeshore. Full hookups we’re nice to reset. If you can plan far enough in advance to get a lakeside spot for several days this is the place to stay!

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: One of our favorite campgrounds. Beautiful place to RV when the weather is fair. When the wind is off the lake it can be very cold. Great showers and restrooms. Friendly staff.

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: Great campsite. Arrived with no reservation but got a lakeside site after someone cancelled. Very quiet, very clean. Check in staff very helpful. Wi-Fi is excellent, full hookup site number 93. $41 per night.

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: Nice location... fair campground ... very safe, level but dusty ... some sites have really nice views of lake. 50amp and water no sewer ... just dump. #HisRoadTrip www dot HisRoadTrip dot com

Trixielea

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: We stayed in campsite number one and enjoyed the privacy and peekaboo view of the lake. There was a short path to a beautiful sandy beach where we enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunset. We stayed for one night and found the restrooms and showers very clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Gidget

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: We stayed in this park one night the weekend prior to Independence Day. The park was full, but we were able to get an overflow spot, which had good tasting water/electric. This is a nice family park right on the lake with large spaces and clean bathrooms. We didn't use the showers, but there were some available. The staff was very friendly. Our only complaint, which was very minor, was the bright lights that come on at night to illuminate the roads in the park. They were so bright they lit up the inside of our trailer when we were trying to sleep. We come through Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula in the late spring/early summer every year and will definitely stay here next year on our way west.

DrP

For Munising Tourist Park Campground: Sites along the lake are nice. The rest are OK. You need extra water hoses plus power extension cords because the runs to your utility hook-ups are long.

I lowered my rating one star because of the office staff's inability to fulfill reservations that were "confirmed." We were told on arrival that our reservations were being reduced by a day and we wouldn't have the sewer connection we paid for. And we were not alone in having our reservations changed by the park at check-in. I hope the city government is better at delivering on its promises than the city-owned campground.
