For Union Bay - Porcupine Mountains State Park: I’ve been here for 5 days so far, and I love it. We’re on the lower campsites right on Lake Superior. It’s beautiful! We’ve been biking and hiking on most days then we blow up the kayak, so fun. Everything is clean and the Park folks are great. It hasn’t rained at all so I can’t talk about any mud.

For Union Bay - Porcupine Mountains State Park: Camped here midweek late June. It had rained several days prior so many of the sites were mud. Best camping is on top of the bluff. Sites near the lake are crowded and the restroom is on top so a bit of a hike. Sites are mostly grass and slope toward the lake so some leveling may be needed. Restrooms are modern. Much to see in the area and good hikes.
