For Lighthouse County Park: A beautiful location right on Lake Huron. Many full time residents but everyone was nice to us, including helpful staff. Things were quiet, we like that, we arrived on July 5 right after the busy 4th weekend. Full sevice sites are ok but close to each other; if you’re willing to boondock or go electric only, there are especially lovely sites on the north side of the campground near the water and lighthouse. Boat launch looked nice although we didn’t use it. We would stay here again.

For Lighthouse County Park: Nice campground with majority being level grassy sites. Quite a few seasonal people but all we talked to were nice and friendly. We didn't experience a lot of noise after 11:00 and was pretty quiet. We were on a full hook up site and off of the water but there looked to be quite a few electric only sites open right on the water. Boat launch was nice. The park was older style and not much else as far as kids go. All in all a great park and would visit again.

For Lighthouse County Park: Very clean site with a spectacular view of
Lake Huron on Pointe Aux Barques lighthouse. We were at the full hook up site with good access to everything. A great place to be at if you also want to visit Port Austin or go kayaking.

For Lighthouse County Park: 50amp, water, sewer hook up. Grass sites. Great view. If you love parking on the lake and lighthouses this is your CG.

For Lighthouse County Park: We were looking for a quiet campground with a nice view of Lake Huron. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed during the week, immediately before the 4th of July weekend.

This campground is awesome! It's right on the lake and there are no bad views. Although sites are arrayed across two fields with few shade trees, the constant breeze from the lake kept us cool. The sites are reasonable size and didn't feel overly dense when nearly full. There is good ATT and Verizon coverage. Internet was good, and slowed a bit as sites filled up on Friday.

We made an error in our reservation and the campground hosts were friendly and proactive in helping us resolve the error.

For Lighthouse County Park: One of the best stops on our trip. Will definitely go back if given a chance.
