For PH Hoeft State Park: Wow - totally in love with this campground! Some sites are tight. But you can walk to the beach, there are small dunes, paved bike trail, and Lake Huron is beautiful.

For PH Hoeft State Park: This is a great campground! Don't let it scare you that it is electric hookup only. They have fresh water fill up at entrance so you don't have to travel with your tanks full. The dump station is nicely laid out too. The sites are huge and shaded! There is a beach access right in the camp (lake was exceptionally high when we were there-so not much beach) There is a paved bike trail that runs along the lake all the way into Rogers City in one direction and to the historic lighthouse in the other direction. I would have planned several more nights if I had known how great this campground was going to be. (Note: We stayed in a 35' fifth wheel)
