For Brevoort Lake NF Campground: I’d give it six stars if I could! This is what camping is supposed to be. Gorgeous lake side camp sites. Kayak, fish, swim or just watch the sunset from your site. Electric and water available. Camp hosts were the nicest people you’ll find in the UP. Plenty of distance and privacy between camp sites. I absolutely fell in love with this area.

Windog

For Brevoort Lake NF Campground: A well managed and beautiful campground. We stayed on site 58 on the northern end of lake and could launch our kayak from there. Clean restrooms in the larger loop but closed in the 50-70 loop. Port-a- lets are temporarily there instead.

Bruce Bugbee

For Brevoort Lake NF Campground: This is one of my favorite campgrounds in Michigan. No hookups, but sites are large and private, many with direct beach access to Brevort Lake. Great base camp for easy day trips to Eastern UP and Mackinaw tourist sites. Easy access to US 2.

Jim Lee

For Brevoort Lake NF Campground: Beautiful lake and nearly all generous sites well separated from neighbors. Clean running water bathrooms (didn’t see showers), nice trails, boat rentals and short distance to Lake Michigan. Easy access from Route 2 and quieter than campgrounds near Route 2. A Saturday night in August was very busy with many children and families but quiet well before quiet hours.

Carl Turner

For Brevoort Lake NF Campground: This is the nicest National Forest campground we have seen. Large, level sites, many with canoe access to the lake. It has canoe, cayak, SUP rental, and a boat launch ramp.

Mainejc

For Brevoort Lake NF Campground: Great stay in 2013, quiet yet fairly close to towns. Plenty to do if adventurous, or just hang out in the water.
