For Golden Eagle Lodge And Campground: Everything in first review is correct. We have a large 39' 5th wheel that drug when getting in and out of site (unlevel areas). Tight spots but if you can maneuver you can get in. Wonderful owners/hosts. Hook ups are Water and Electricity only but 50 amp is available. Had a wonderful time fishing on Flour Lake (overfished Lake but Texas Rig rubber worm worked great). We rented a canoe for a week and used it when camping both at Flour Lake Campground and at Golden Eagle Resort. Only downside is dump is slightly uphill so you must lift hose repeatedly to drain tanks. Pass Port America is only for staying up to 2 nights. When staying longer it is full price. Don't expect great WiFi but it does work - everone walks down close to office to make calls and check e-mails. There are cabins to rent as well if you want to stay with family. Bring your spotting scope to watch the loons. We stayed 5 nights in September 2021 and would return.

For Golden Eagle Lodge And Campground: Saw this lodge in Passport America on our trip to MN, called ahead and they let us make a reservation versus drive in using PA due to last minute cancellation and slow season, usually there are no vacancies only having 9 sites. So glad we went, what a beautiful place! Close to the Boundary Waters. Love the cute lodge overlooking Flour Lake. Can rent a canoe/kayak or just sit and relax in the lawn chairs. Clean and well maintained. Level sites in a wooded setting. Verizon strong and WiFi within 100 ft of lodge. $5/pet/ night fee. Garbage picked up by 6pm to keep bears in the woods, which is fine with us.
