For Grand Marais City RV Park: This campground was pretty nice. Decent price of $40 for full hookups, the spot was very tight and took multiple tries for us to back in (we are 36’ and my husband doesn’t usually have problems backing in). Good water pressure. No problems with hookups at all. The bathrooms were great! Hot water, great water pressure, quite clean. There was recycling. Lovely nature walking trail, and right on the beach of course with tons of beautiful views. The sites are very close together- and over Memorial Day weekend it was PACKED and some people were loud. But after the weekend people cleared out, it was great.

GW

For Grand Marais City RV Park: Found this campground to be crowded, and noisy, with few amenities. Way overpriced for what you get. Friendly office staff, but extremely overpriced, about 50% are full timers, sites are very small (just reach out and touch your neighbor).

Eric

For Grand Marais City RV Park: Nice municipal campground with wide variety of campsites. Ranges from sites with full hookups and 50 amp to sites that have 30 amp and water only. We were there over 4th of July and the place was full. Lots of activity with so many people but everyone was polite and friendly. Park is located right on Lake Superior but most sights do not have a view of the lake. Short walk to Grand Marais and good launching point for hiking, fishing, and sightseeing on the Gunflint Trail. We would stay here again, maybe just not over July 4th.

Jesse

For Grand Marais City RV Park: This municipal campground is large, well cared-for, and about 50% full-timers. We got a small site with full hookups about 200 feet from Lake Superior via a cobblestone beach. We have an 18-foot travel trailer. Grand Marais is a great little town with good food and close proximity to several state parks with top-notch hiking.

AG

For Grand Marais City RV Park: We drive a 40 ft motorhome and tow a Jeep. They gave us a pretty flat spot with a good view and space for RV and tow. It was a pull through. I give it a 4 as it in walking distance of a wonderful little city, restaurants, and Lake Superior. We are self contained so did not use any of their facilities. Great to branch out from to go on hikes at the state parks. You need to be okay with close neighbors.

For Grand Marais City RV Park: We like this town, the lake, and the cool summer weather. The campground has mostly level, or close enough to level, sites that are too small for the big RVs. They just shouldn't allow units that cannot fit on the sites...it gives the area a parking lot feel. Mostly unpaved sites, some have a minimal amount of class five ground in. Bath houses have a reputation for running out of hot water, but it was not my experience. They do their best to keep it clean, but there's no accounting for unsupervised children, of which their are many. Expect a mess. I think it is overpriced by comparison to most campgrounds of similar quality... but it's the only game in town for convenience to a truly wonderful region.

For Grand Marais City RV Park: Get 3 stars for view , if didn't have view it would be less . Pretty trashy locals annual tenants . No real tv cable ,no antenna reception . Not really my cup of joe
