For Lake Ripley Campground: The lake is ok, the road right behind the trailer area is right there and can be noisy. You will need to unhitch no matter what size trailer you are towing and move your vehicle to the road behind your trailer. The camp host was not to be found and we could have left without paying, but we finally found a mailbox with a lock, but couldn't get a receipt of any kind. There is a free dump station so really no need to pay the extra $5 for a site with sewer.
Once vehicles are moved they aren't allowed on the street in front of the campers, so fairly safe for children. Great sunset views from all sites. The path is also used by town folk, so lots of bicyclers and walkers.
