For Cozy C RV Campground: This is a very nice park, it’s small with level gravel pads, grass and full hookups. They have a good dog area but there is also a street at back of park that I used to walk my dog. We stayed overnite in a pull through. We would stay here again. Easy access to Hwy 54, we were headed into Illinois

For Cozy C RV Campground: A small, very cozy, 45 site campground off US Highway 54 just east of Bowling Green, MO. Offers a combination of pull-thru and back-in sites, with full hook-ups, though the label of “pull-thru” is somewhat misleading. A glitch occurred while booking an online reservation, so I phoned the park directly to confirm receipt of reservation, which they were able to do. We are every bit of 63’ (Ram 3500, 40’ fifth-wheel and bike rack) and having reserved and paid for a pull-thru site and we didn’t fully understand the owner’s explanation of “you’ll need to arrive early to get a pull-thru” until after we arrived. We needed the spot for one night regardless of entry/parking method and knew we would arrive early, so we did not push the issue. Upon our arrival we followed the COVID-19 Check-in instructions, the owner escorted us to the site and in a very animated/exaggerated way directed us to park, he then drove away. It wasn’t until 15 minutes after unhitching he came back to tell us we needed to go to the office to check-in and it was at that time we fully understood his comment about arriving early to get a pull-thru. He was less than pleased that we didn’t pull our fifth-wheel up further as ALL pull-thru sites hold two units, meaning as long as you arrived before other campers you can indeed pull thru, but you can expect any RV arriving after you will back-in to the same site behind you. Since we were leaving by 8AM he did not require us to move forward a few more feet. Originally, we booked two separate reservations for a trip to Elkhart, IN and subsequently, the return trip 5 days later. We stayed one night, on our first reservation. We opted to cancel our second reservation knowing we could not possibly guarantee we arrive in time to get a pull-thru, and were somewhat concerned we’d be left with a back-in space that would not allow enough room for the truck to swing around while parking. Poles, large rocks/small boulders and shepherds hooks strategically placed that could make maneuvering a rig our size a bit challenging with a full campground. Taking our preferences into account, it was good for a one-night stay and we would not consider this a “destination”. The grounds were good, with minimal spacing between sites. E/W/S all worked as expected. We did not use any facilities (laundry, bath/shower house or dog park), so cannot comment. Had minimal interaction with both the husband and the wife, finding the interaction with the wife to be friendlier. Paid $33.99 (incl. tax) for each night, which we felt was reasonable. As expected, per their policy, we lost a $10.00 processing fee for cancelling subsequent reservation and received a check in the mail for the balance.

For Cozy C RV Campground: On our way south in January, we stop here overnight. Great place! We're able to plug in our class A motorhome with 50 amp and cable. The shower house and laundry are heated and great to use since we can't dewinterize until Nashville. The owners keep this place emaculate. These are the cleanest rest rooms we've ever seen! Do call ahead during the day so they can give you check in instructions since they're gone after 3pm. We'll be back in March on the way home!
