For Blue Springs Lake Campground Jackson County Park: Stayed Friday and Saturday 8/10/18 and 8/11/18. First trip in our new 5th wheel. Site 13. Site was level and full hookup. We have a 41' trailer - easy to maneuver in the circle. Property was well maintained - several hiking trails - about 1/2 mile to the lake (via a trail - or drive to the swimming beach). If staying in KC to visit the city - this is about 20 minutes from downtown. We were just trying out our new rig. Did not go in the showers - but the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The hosts did let us drive around on a sunday about two weeks before so we could pick a site. 50 amp service, water pressure were good. Kids enjoyed the playground. $33/night for full hookup. I'd stay again I suppose - we likely wont just because it's so close to the house.

For Blue Springs Lake Campground Jackson County Park: GPS or Google maps will take you there. It's a lovely wooded park with rolling hills and well-tended grounds. Most sites are spaced well enough to allow privacy. We've stayed there several times and will do so again.

For Blue Springs Lake Campground Jackson County Park: The campground is well kept up. Forget about entering an address into gps, you'll get lost, twice... As another reviewer said, got stuck down a road that I barely turned around in. Luckily another rv'er was out scouting(also lost) and spot me back. If not, I would've had a much harder time spinning around. Would've given it five stars if the address on their web page was usefule and I didn't waste an hour of my time getting lost and driving up 10 deg grades

KWM

For Blue Springs Lake Campground Jackson County Park: Key thing to know is that you need to arrive no later than 8:55 PM or you'll find the gates down and you won't be able to register. True of all the Jackson County campgrounds we're told. Very nice facilities, New clean bathrooms, toilets in several spots, showers by registration. Note no heat in the shower room, so it was a mite chilly this morning. Thank goodness for hot water. Very nice hosts, pads were well drained. All pads have electricity and (I think) water.

Cindy

For Blue Springs Lake Campground Jackson County Park: We stayed here a couple of nights in late October 2016. It was a nice place, lots of kids and families. No complaints. Friendly staff. Be careful with directions. We got lost getting there and had a heck of a time getting our trailer turned around.
