For Timberlake Campground: The website advertises wifi, however upon arrival they informed me "the wifi is down, and we dont know how long it will be down. They have to install a new system" I am staying here for a month long medical school rotation, and wifi was one of the reasons I chose this location. Very very disappointed. Also they pulled a fast one to prevent me from getting the discounted monthly rate.. So I am paying the daily rate, for 30 days. That amounts to over $800. Not very Christian-like.

For Timberlake Campground: SKIP IT. this is not what we expected. People live here. We’re on a x-country and usually stay at NP or State parks. We found this on the app and wish we hadn’t. We ended up staying one night bc we didn’t want to drive anymore. This is more a trailer park than RV park. More residents than visitors. Too many kids and other people. It’s crammed in there and almost every spot is taken. The rate isn’t bad for $28 with military discount but one night was one night too many.

For Timberlake Campground: Fun place! Very nice and lots of rv spots! Water on both sides and lots of kid friendly activities. Plenty of families! Would definitely stay here again.

For Timberlake Campground: Very nice campground. We had a concrete pad right on the water. Reasonably priced with a senoir's discount. NO Internet.

For Timberlake Campground: Staying here right now for three days. We were cruising the Natchez Trace Parkway and chose this place without checking the reviews first. $30.00 per night, right on the water, paved campsite, paved roads, nice bathrooms, full hookups. We love this place. Friendly management, and the let us pick our own site.

Dan

For Timberlake Campground: Friendly staff and met some of the full timers, which were also nice. We pulled in and were told we can pick any of the spots we wanted since it's the slow season, get setup then come and pay. We had a spot right by the lake. Beautiful. Close to shopping for groceries. Not far from the rest of the town. Beautiful place to stay, but it is overpriced for what it is. Internet did not work the entire week we were there and were told by others that it wasn't for some time now. If you need it, ask before you go. Aside from the internet, would definitely stay again.

For Timberlake Campground: We were touring the Natchez Trace and took a chance getting a spot at Timberlake after-hours (no reservation). We were in a 25' Motorhome, so were flexible with our site selection. We drove around a bit before selecting a spot in the interior of the campground that seemed fairly level. The park was pretty full and the roads somewhat confusing to navigate. I would imagine had we had a Class A or had been pulling our tow vehicle, it could have been pretty challenging in some spots. The site we selected had tall trees with a dirt pad. There are sites along the reservoir, but all of those were taken by folks who looked either permanent or who were staying awhile. It appeared many of the RVers were there for the water sports. We had our dogs and it was a nice park to walk around. There is a fenced in tennis court with a basketball and we fiddled around in there late at night and were able to let our stir crazy dogs run off some steam. That was great, although we wouldn't have done that had there been anyone on the courts. Aside from electric and water, we didn't take advantage of the facilities as this was more of an overnight for us. The next morning, we went to pay and the woman was frustrated with a new computer system...thankfully I had some cash and paid her $25, which made her quite happy as she didn't have to deal with trying to figure out the cc payment system. :-) Apparently her son usually takes care of that stuff. It is a lovely park. I'd certainly stay here again if passing through the area.
