For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: We found this campsite by chance as we were passing thru the area on our way home from California. I wish we could have stayed longer because it was fantastic. Level concrete pads, water & electric and cheap. Very peaceful sites next to a nice lake. I would highly recommend this park.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Nice little park with a few little exceptions. Stopped here only one night as we were wrapping up a 5 day trip to Arkansas. This MS park seemed like a good place to lay up for the night. The park is clean and very pretty and the spots along the lake side at least have concrete slabs. Not sure about the rest. There is power and water but I was unable to locate septic so there must be a dump station on the way out. There is a 50 amp service but when I plugged in my RV surge protector, it did throw an error code. Everything works fine but it makes me wonder if there is a problem somewhere in the campground because I have read other reviews mentioning power issues. Note that when coming in from interstate 55 the brown signs for the state park seem to say to enter at one place however you should follow the brown camping signs instead because there are two entrances to the park. One for day use and museum and the other is for campers, so follow the brown camper sign. Oh and be aware that there are some low hanging branches as you enter, nothing too drastic but tall rigs will touch them as you drive underneath. Hopefully they’ll trim the tree branches along the roads before we come back next time. It’s a nice park and despite these few things that I’ve mentioned we may still come back here again :) One last thing, some people have mentioned that they have alligators in the lake, so fishing is OK but definitely do not swim in the water! LOL

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: We love bringing our Class C RV here when we don’t have the time for a long getaway. It’s a great place right in the city. Nice lake for fishing or kayaking. No gas motors allowed. The dog loves the wildlife, mainly squirrels and foxes. Concrete pads with water, electric, picnic table and grill. There is a dump station near the entrance to the park. We have never used the bathhouse, so cant comment on it. No WiFi, but we always have a strong LTE signal for streaming. Posting this review from the park on my iPad. The highway noise is minimal, cant hear it at all in the RV and very little outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Gated entrance and exit. The road to the campground is mostly gravel and has potholes, this area floods occasionally, so it’s to be expected. This is not a $75 a night luxury camping resort, but if you are looking for a nice $22 wooded state park with a water front pad, this place is great.

Wandering Sandals

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Stayed overnight at Le Fleurs Bluff State Park Campground site #14, but wish we could stay a bit longer. For around $23/night electricity/water, the natural park beauty and price cannot be beat! Camp sites are in the middle of the large cypress pond, with beautiful and private view from our trailer window during sunset. Bathroom construction is typically on stilts, with little privacy in showers due to no door or hooks. Washer & dryer also on the second floor. Dump station is at the exit. Road in/out is mostly gravel and little muddy at time, really expect at least paved road into the campground for it smacks right in the middle of the Jackson, Mississippi. Due to it location, supplies run or trailer repair/upgrade is pretty easy. WiFi is non-existence, but LTE is decent. Will came back again if we pass this way again.

For Le Fleurs Bluff State Park: Nice location, a surprisingly quiet locale in the middle of Mississippi's capital city. But the campground is in disrepair and appears to have been flooded recently. In fact, I arrived behind a major frontal passage with several inches of rain having fallen and I overheard a comment It looks like we won't have to evacuate. The rain had passed but the lake level was just inches from intruding on several of the parking spots. This problem probably explains the poor condition of the paving and gravel road surfaces. There were also a few low limbs overhanging the roadway that need to be cut. The whole park looks more like an underfunded private venture rather than a government facility in a capital city. It would have made a better impression in dry weather I'm sure.
