For KOA Holiday Billings: Clean (wonderful bathrooms!), well run. Family style with a “carnival” atmosphere. Mini golf, food trucks, pool, etc. Yellowstone river runs nearby offering a break from the chaos. Pricey, in addition they charge $25 extra if you arrive early and $5.40 per person if you have visitors..

Serena

For KOA Holiday Billings: 2nd time here...just passing through. Very nice. Staff very professional & courteous. Yes, i read the other reviews and am clueless why people dont like this place? Its clean, well run, lots of things for kids to play on (but you gotta LIKE kids, which i do!) yes, there are two distinct sides...one older, one new...but BOTH are good (we stayed at both). Yes, the older site was a bit cramped, but easily managable for our 24ft rig pulling a motorcycle trailer. Ive camped in MUCH worse. I liked this place for one night. Super clean & well managed.

Alan

For KOA Holiday Billings: 2nd time staying here and will be the last. Sites are so close you can almost touch but even worse the road in between rows is literally 12’ wide. No idea how I’m going to get my 38’ 5th wheel and long bed truck out of here in the morning. They have a back area where sites are twice the size but the kid at the front desk said “ we are totally booked and bye I’ve had bigger rigs than yours stay in your site and they didn’t have any issues”. Like he would know....or care. I do not understand how when you check in at a KOA they tell you “ oh those may be empty now but they are reserved” and yet when I call (sometimes months in advance they always tell me “oh we can’t tell you site you will be in because we don’t reserve sites”. I’m done w KOAs!

For KOA Holiday Billings: Do not stay at this Koa if you have kids. They do not care if children are abandoned by parents in freezing morning. I rescued a 4 year old screaming in tears that his mom abandoned him at 6am with boyfriend she didn’t know. I informed management and the didn’t respond. They canceled my reservation insinuating I was the bad guy. Stay away.

JA

For KOA Holiday Billings: This campground has lovely amenities if you want to keep your kids entertained, but maybe not so great if you want to keep your RV nice. We reserved a 55 foot deluxe patio pull through site. We were unable to get into our site without branches dragging down the side of our camper. When we reported the issue, someone came and looked at the tree, rolled their eyes at us, and walked off. A large dead limb dropped on our camper in the middle of the night. The neighbors made a point to tell us to lock everything up because of a robbery the night prior to our arrival. KOA typically holds a standard for their campgrounds, but this location does not hold up.

Marc

For KOA Holiday Billings: There are two distinct area of the Campground. The newer looks nicer and has a little more room. The older section is tight for bigger rigs and has only water and electric no sewer. There are a few long term campers and I use that term loosely because it makes it look like a dumpy trailer park. Trash around the camp site, along with a bunch of appliances (garage size freezer, coffee maker). KOA should pull their franchise from this Campground

Serena

For KOA Holiday Billings: Just read the other reviews. Did they stay at this same place? It is absolutely lovely. We pulled our 24ft, Class C with a motorcycle trailer into an ample pull/thru with elect/water — it was the “delux site, on east side of office, with paved area for picnic table). It was quiet, clean (no junk/no meth lab). The facilities were GREAT with beautiful putt putt golf, adequate pool, incredible private showers, and great laundry with no line to use. This is also the FIRST KOA IN THE USA, so glad I stayed here. Highly recommend. I’m not sure why the other reviews were sour? I disagree with them.
