For Cascade Campground: July 2020: Small sites with reasonable privacy from each other, in a shady forest setting. The sites closer to the busy highway will be somewhat noisy. Most sites are more suited to car/tent campers than to RVs, unless you have a short Class-B van-type. Most sites have a level tent and firepit area, but the site parking space is often not at all level. The campground loop road is gravel, so can make the sites dusty. There are bear-proof trash containers, and prominent warning signs posted about black bears. The freshwater supply is from a hand-pumped well. The two pit toilets are reasonably clean. A camp host is on-site. The fee is $10/night, or $5/night with Federal Pass. The campground is popular because of the nearby river, but actual access to the river is difficult due to the busy highway and brushy, steep riverbank. There were two sites still available when we were here on a late afternoon weekday. We didn't stay here, but just drove through to take a look.
