For Big Larch Campground: Large campground right on the lake. Large Larch pines all through the campground, though the area around the sites has been cut back a lot. Not heavily used, so almost always a spot. No reservations so all first come sites. I stayed for a week in August, very quiet about 1/4 full. Sites are far apart, very level and paved. I had stayed the week before at the Seeley Lake campground on the other side of the lake, it was much busier with big family groups. I would definitely stay here again.

For Big Larch Campground: This has to be one of the most unattractive campgrounds I’ve ever seen. The drive to the campground is beautiful. The campground has zero privacy, straggly trees, slag pile after slag pile. Loud music, party people, people saving spots for their friends with chairs, bags of dog food, etc. Horrible experience.

DiCo

For Big Larch Campground: This campground is closed to camping due to downed trees everywhere. There are 2 group day use areas available to picnic is all.

lars

For Big Larch Campground: the campground is very nice although some spots are difficult to back into and most of the time all of the spots are taken. other than that its close to the water and worth going to if you are in serch of big trout.
