For KOA Journey Three Forks: Run down and a bit unkept. If you have other options, do it. Don’t plan on a pool. Most sites are seasonal.

For KOA Journey Three Forks: I didn’t have the experiences the other reviews had, nor did I have the same impression. We thought the park was great. The spaces were plenty big, and there were lots of trees and nice landscaping. It was not at all overgrown. The office staff were all nice. In fact, we were planning to go to the first come first serve Lewis and Clark state park, but when we drove by this park we decided to stop and check it out (it was hot, full hookups were appealing). We did not use the bathroom or shower. The only bummer was the pool is not filled or functional and it would have been nice in the heat.

A Larson

For KOA Journey Three Forks: Sites and park are heavily vegetated and overgrown. We did not stay for two reasons. One the overhead tree limbs scratching my 40’ RV. The park looks rundown and needs desperate maintenance. Second, the owner/staff were very abrupt and seemingly unfriendly when we wished to look at the site beforehand. We could not recommend this place.

Slip N Slide

For KOA Journey Three Forks: Seven days in 40’ MH and enjoyed the stay. Great landscaping and very friendly staff. WIFI was slow and cable good. Minimal road noise in a rural setting, peaceful and quiet. Laundry was functional, did not use showers or restrooms. Great restaurants in close proximity, 2-6 miles.

Yellowstone

For KOA Journey Three Forks: Nice Gravel Spots. Management was very helpful. New 50 amp service. Just a mile off of I-90 but very quite. Good value for the money

Montana RV

For KOA Journey Three Forks: Be careful of staying here. There is a strict check in time and if you do not call they will charge your card and rent out the spot you already paid for. The owner, Sarah, is very rude and not professional at all. I was never told of the cancellation policy and even tried to call before my 7 pm check in time to get my spot and to charge my card before hand but wasn't able to get any information... Is my spot that secret??? So the "front desk" told me that someone would be there until 10 pm. I called at 9:42 and no one answered the phone so I decided to not make the extra drive and just camp on the side of the road. My card was charged and when I talked to the owner, Sarah, I was actually questioned of I actually called. Why would I make that up?? I'm still awaiting my call back. Never again!! Just camp somewhere else!

TexasGal

For KOA Journey Three Forks: An oasis of a park, nestled in mature pine and Russian olive trees, and beautifully kept grounds. Stay 6 nites, get 7th free. $38/night + tax, 30 amp. Camp Three Forks has 65 pull-thrus (31x63), 13 FHU sites, many with new 50amp pedestals, 21 tent sites and 4 cabin rentals units (12x12', full bed & 2 bunks, bring own linens). Strong Wi-Fi, good OTA signal (10-15 channels), laundry, clean restrooms/showers. Lovely dog walking areas, spacious gravel sites, some more level than other, but the key is easy access to IH90/287S. 30 mi from Bozeman; Butte is 1 hr west. 15 miles to Lewis & Clark Caverns. Park is Quiet and peaceful. Friendly Work Campers were great, easy check-in and escorted us to our site. Hand dipped ice cream $2 and small gift shop. This was our 3rd visit, in a 37' Travel Trailer. Handles big rigs with ease. Would come again if traveling this way!
