For Bull River Campground: The campground loops are well-graded gravel roads. Most sites are spacious, have at least partial shade, and offer a fairly level gravel parking area. Sites 17 & 18 are a short distance off a loop, on a dead-end spur road, with no possible turn around space for anything longer than about a 20-foot trailer, at the most. Backing in carefully from the loop road may be the best option for entering these two spaces. The campground entrance information board has a notice that the USFS is considering raising the camping fee at this campground to $16/night beginning May 2019. But as of June 2019 the official posted fee is still $10/night. There are fresh (potable) water spigots scattered throughout the loops. Each spigot has 2 nozzles. One nozzle has a spring action paddle lever and no threads on the outlet. The other nozzle has a backflow prevention fitting with standard hose threads. Each spigot has a posted notice saying to attach a hose to ONLY the threaded nozzle in order to fill an RV’s freshwater tank. There is useable AT&T voice and 3G data service, but there is NO AT&T or Verizon 4G/LTE data service as of June 2019. So a newer phone or cellular data “hotspot” that cannot fall back to use legacy 3G data service may not work here. Your results may vary. There is some light background noise from the highway, but probably not enough to bother most people.

For Bull River Campground: Nice tree filled place. Good size site areas for privacy.
