For Bad Medicine Campground: Camped two nights Wed-Thur Sep 20-21, 2023; lots of availability. Primitive forested area with decent but smaller sites, no views of the water but a short walk away. Clean and quiet. Boat ramp for water activities.

For Bad Medicine Campground: Stayed in site #10 with our 18’ travel trailer. Plenty of room for tow vehicle and trailer, easy back in site. Outhouse near site was clean and well stocked with toilet paper. There was water and firewood available at pay station but we didn’t use either. Boondocking only, no hookups. Nice US Forest Service campground near Bull Lake, although NO VIEW of the lake from campsite. Minus a star for no view, and enormous amount of skeeters! Bring an arsenal of bug spray and citronella! We will be back.

GC MIKE

For Bad Medicine Campground: Stayed at #5 in a tent. Decent space, little privacy, trees provide shade. Gravel drive and tent area but sites not level. campground quiet and has excellent host.

SK

For Bad Medicine Campground: Campground with 2 loops in dense forest at south end of Bull Lake. The camp sites are near the lake, but don't really have views of the lake or mountains, as the forest is very thick. I had a 20 ft travel trailer and don't think I would try any thing much longer, as the loop roads are narrow with tight turns. But there are some pretty sites among the trees. There are vault toilets and water. There is also a nearby day use area.
