For Rambling Moose Campground: Superb. I agree with all previous posts. Kim, the host, was very helpful. Office has a small shop with her handmade quilts and RV rugs available, as well as basic camping supplies. This park is quiet, being away from major highways and traffic. Easy w all downhill into town. Sites are clean and well laid out. The upper sites, above 13, have better views North across the valley. Park is perfect to explore Virginia and Nevada Cities, both well-preserved but “alive†ghost towns. Things get quiet after Labor Day; train doesn’t run for instance. Restaurants came open for lunches at 11 am. But this is still during the virus.

For Rambling Moose Campground: Great place, very clean, friendly people. Location is perfect for visiting old mining towns, Virginia City and Nevada City. Enjoyed it, stayed 3 days and would return again.

For Rambling Moose Campground: Very nice campground on the edge of Virginia City. New owners in the past year have made significant upgrades and improvements. Extremely clean laundry and showers. Highly recommend.

For Rambling Moose Campground: The people running the office were so nice and helpful with suggestions about things to do in the area. The campground was clean and the had very nice bathrooms
