For Hominy Valley RV Park: We called at around 8 pm to ask if there were sites available, on our way north. Fred couldn’t have been nicer about accommodating us. Only a few sites at this location but ours was very nice, with full hook-up, clean and tidy. Do not rely on GPS to get you there! Fred gave us great directions and I’d recommend you carefully watch for the blue mailbox with the 1550 address, as it’s easy to miss. We’d definitely stay here again!

For Hominy Valley RV Park: We stayed here three nights. The full hookups and wifi were excellent, and the site was level side to sIde, but not front to back. There was ample space between sites. Two observations: Passport America discount was not honored in September, although the website only excluded October and holidays. $40 seemed high, but we paid it. Plan 20-25 minutes to drive to the Biltmore. This was a fine place to stay if planning to be gone during the day, exploring the area, returning only to sleep.

For Hominy Valley RV Park: What a nice place, Fred the owner could not have been any nicer. We called last minute looking for a place for a week, Fred put us in a great spot, nosed in facing a nice stretch of woods with a creek. Our spot was dead flat level, had a nice concrete patio with a pergola, also had a wrought iron table and chairs. Wi-fi was free and worked very well. This place has no pool, no playground or fancy club house - but if your looking for a quiet beautiful setting near Asheville then look no further. Really caters to “big rigs” - make sure to ask for creek front! We travel in a 45’ diesel pusher with a towed car and would highly recommend! Thanks again Fred, you’ll hear from us again next time through Asheville.

Patrick

For Hominy Valley RV Park: A nice place to park while visiting Asheville. No bathhouse, playground, cable or laundry. Well-maintained sites. WiFi is good. Owner is very nice and the price is reasonable. Entrance is easy to miss. The sign is small and right around a turn.

The Paddy Wagon

For Hominy Valley RV Park: Great little park hidden in the mountains. Fred - the owner- is a great guy and takes wonderful care of the park and his residents. Thanks Fred! Had a great stay and look forward to coming back next summer.

Almondette

For Hominy Valley RV Park: 6 sites next to road all long term - owner extremely nice. Has green area between sites and road for dog duty. No frills just a spot to put RV alittle farther from Asheville than expected.
