Christina

For Pride RV Resort: This campground is listed as a member of Coast to Coast resorts. These resort campgrounds are supposed to charge a flat rate of 1000 tripsetter points to be considered a C2C resort. This campground adds on a “resort fee” of $30 to ALL stays regardless of the amenities you use. They should NOT be advertised as accepting C2C membership. This is very misleading.

Jim

For Pride RV Resort: I called and reserved a apartment for TWO nights and when I checked in I did not notice that I had been charged for THREE nights. I went back to the office, the same day, and let them know a mistake had been made, and I was told that the company policy was no refunds. I asked her to call the manager and to let me know, I never heard a response. Today I went to check out and was told about the same policy and I was not able to receive a refund. So beware when making a reservation at this place, they may try to get additional money from there guest without them knowing and then blame the “Company Policy” of no refunds. Not sure they take much PRIDE in putting the customer first! You pay first and if you don’t like the place, or THEY make a mistake and over charge, does not matter, company policy says no refunds. $110 tip and lesson learned! I will NEVER stay here again and will be sure and let all my camping friends know. The place to stay is Creek Side, which is next door, to this not so prideful place. Along with the Company Policy ordeal, we stayed in one of the apartments and the bed was HORRIBLE! Sagging in the middle and I had to sleep on the couch for two nights.

Lynn B

For Pride RV Resort: Loved this park. Made late reservations so had to stay in Aisle B near the main road. Little noisy but ok. Park was neat, clean, beautiful little creek several aisles away, great family location. The four days we were here it was full to capacity but still reasonably quiet at night. Loved Waynesville area. Lots to see and do.

Colonel Christmas

For Pride RV Resort: Easy to get to, very nice campground ground, well kept up and very friendly staff. Highway noise is low rumble in the morning. The store could use a few more staples but very nice.

JJ and Crista

For Pride RV Resort: Sites were close together but not terrible. WiFi and cable worked well. Great views. Nice creek and ponds. Bathhouse was clean.

C,T&KT

For Pride RV Resort: Stayed here for 9 nights over Labor Day. Our site G14 was facing the creek and the view was gorgeous. It was a bit difficult to achieve level and we had to finally do it manually with about 90% success. It rained on and off for about 1 1/2 days and the site became a muddy bog behind, in front and on the living side of the RV. One odd thing is that there is only set of bathrooms for the whole Park and they clean it from 8-9 AM, lousy timing to be closed in the morning for those who use landside rest rooms. In spite of all that, we love this park and will probably return next year. It's central to many things we wanted to see and do.
