For Tuckaseegee RV Resort: Stayed three nights for visiting family in the local area. People were very helpful. Very attentive to make sure everything is running smoothly in the area. Campsites are a little small you’re definitely next-door to each other. Being on the river doesn’t matter. Because the river is 40 feet down a gully Shaded trees very quiet. There is some traffic every once in a while but nothing that bad. Definitely stay again.

For Tuckaseegee RV Resort: Well..if you’re trying to camp together with multiple family members on multiple sites 4 or more this is NOT the campground for you!!! I made reservations months ago and as more family and church members discovered we started back camping post COVID several called this campground to make reservations. Once management discovered we were all in the same group I received a call stating we need look around for a campground that could accommodate us because they cater more to seasonal RVers an not weekend enthusiast. (For which they only maintain a few sites for.) Astonished by such poor business practices I proceeded to do just that!! I expressed to management that I did not realize so many of our group had started back camping and thought we would only require 4-5 sites. Well just this week I received a letter stating my reservation was canceled.(SMH) Needless to say…me, my family or any of my church members will ever attempt to stay here again!!!

For Tuckaseegee RV Resort: We stayed for 2 weeks mid-August until the end of August. Agree with both of the previous reviews. This is a well cared-for RV park with level sites, 4 foot privacy fencing between each site, easy access, well maintained common areas. However, it is LOUD! The way the park is situated, the river is between one side of the park and a major highway at a raised elevation with heavy truck traffic (so you get both air brakes as well as lower gear acceleration) as well as heavy motorcycle traffic (we are Harley riders, so tolerant). The other side of the park is up against railroad tracks, literally. It seems like the track only services the GSMR and in 2 weeks I think I only heard and saw the train 4-5 times, so track-side sites might be quieter??? The location is convenient to Cherokee, Bryson City, and all things Great Smokey Mountains located near the southern end of the Blue Ridge. This is NOT a park for kids, there would be nothing for the kids to do onsite. Store is well stocked, there is a communal kitchen (which was closed while we were there due to Covid), a library/exercise/tv room, bathroom/shower room (very nice), and a well maintained laundry. There is a large covered open-air patio with tables, chairs, swings, rockers and an outdoor kitchen with various different grills. This is also the only location we were able to get WiFi or any kind of cell connection. Because of the park location Verizon, ATT, and Sprint are basically without service. Although we had a wifi booster across from our site, I could only get connection by standing directly under the booster. Office staff advised that they had a storm that caused damage to the router and due to Covid parts were on back order...but based on other reviews from different time periods, this just seems to be a bad reception area for cell or internet service. Keep in mind you are on the edge of the Smokeys...there will be rain. Although there is a concrete pad, most RVs couldn't use the pad and stay aligned on the site for optimal use, which means ALOT of water and mud. Also, the hook ups for each site are all the way back, almost to the edge of the site so you have to park back off the concrete pad in order to have a decent set-up.

For Tuckaseegee RV Resort: Sadly, lots of highway noise really detracts from the beautiful view of the river. Level gravel lots although muddy. A concrete pad was included but did not align with big rigs. New picnic table and fire ring. Site 26. We did not use any of the amenities. Park is well maintained. Will not stay again because of noise level.

For Tuckaseegee RV Resort: We loved staying here. The facilities are extremely clean and well kept. The bathrooms are one of the cleanest we ever seen in a campground. The owns are very friendly and will make your stay as comfortable and can be. Sites are gravel and level. Plenty of space between sites with a 4 foot wooden fence separating the sites. Water pressure is good. 120 volts coming in. We would give this place a 10 star if we could.
