For Turtle River State Park: Camped one night on Wednesday Sep 14, 2022 w/o reservations. Lots of availability, quiet park, clean facilities, decent camping spots, nice hiking trails, great staff. Verizon signal medium.

For Turtle River State Park: A lovely big park away from road noise. We were there 2nd week in September (during the week) and it was almost empty. South campground has modern, individual restrooms with shower all wheelchair accessible. Wish we could have stayed longer. Be aware - poison ivy is predominant ground-cover.

For Turtle River State Park: The BEST state park campground that we’ve ever stayed. Beautiful grounds, modern shower, nice and large campsites, friendly hosts and visitor center personnel. Very convenient to US2 and easy to find. It’s more expensive than some of the other campgrounds nearby but so much better. Hiking trails, picnic areas, kids playground, etc. We’ll be back!

For Turtle River State Park: This place is a real jewel ! We stayed on Lot 27 in the South Campground. The grounds were immaculate and we were right next to a brand new shower bathroom facility that was top notch ! We had water and electricity for $30.50 plus a park fee of $7. If I were going to stay a few days this is the kind of park I like. Sites were placed in such a way made you feel very secluded and private.
