For Lewis and Clark State Park: Camped here two nights Tue-Wed Sep 20-21, 2022 w/o reservations; no extra fee when paying in person at ranger station. Lots of availability. Electric/water sites have shared hydrants and you may need extra hose length to reach the hydrant, and a splitter if you have a neighbor; fortunately our 30' hose was sufficient. Nice sites with decent spacing and some privacy. Clean, modern restrooms/showers. Pretty park with nice views of Lake Sakakawea/Missouri River and plenty of options for shoreline fishing; good hiking trails. Good boat ramps for launching and a camp store.

For Lewis and Clark State Park: Really nice, big, wooded park with great bathrooms/showers. Pulled up late heading East on Rte 2. Late July, not many people there at all, we had lots of site options. Had to book the site online instead of in person, which is a bit of a bummer (5.80 fee). Also paid the $7 day use rate (required). All in all I’d recommend.

For Lewis and Clark State Park: Gorgeous state park! We were there on a full moon night and it provided spectacular view. Noisy on Saturday night with families and dogs, ultra quiet on Sunday night. Not sure about entrance coming from the East on SR 2; our GPS said it was a gravel road so we went around through Williston, adding at least 30 extra miles. I should have called ahead to find out about county roads leading to the location. Great Verizon cell signal.

For Lewis and Clark State Park: I have very mixed feelings about this place. Overall, the campground is lovely with well-spaced sites and huge, mature trees. You are approx .25 miles from the lake, which is down a steep, rocky bank. Excellent walking trails. The electric/water sites have SHARED water spigot, which is at least 50 ft from your water tank. Apparently the Park “used to” have splitters on the faucets, but now does not provide them. So, bring your own splitter and get to know your neighbor. WiFi - none. Good Verizon 5G signal. Biggest Con: the ice cream truck which arrives at the marina at 7:45pm and blares his annoying, repetitive music for over an hour! We had to retreat inside our rig and turn on the A/C just to escape the noise. And, no, we would not return.

For Lewis and Clark State Park: We have stayed here several times and enjoy it every time. nice shady sites, fair amount of room between campers, restrooms are kept clean. Only negative note is that there is no wi-fi and no cell signal in the campground.

For Lewis and Clark State Park: What a beautiful place! We stayed in our 37' motorhome for one night, but wished we could stay a lot longer. On Plover loop the pull-through spaces were drive through loops off the main road and had full Hook-ups with picnic table and fire pit. Everyone was spread out. There is a playground in the middle of the loop and hiking trails that connect to the camping areas. Great place to ride our bikes and walk our dog. The views were of the rolling hills or the lake. Sites 93, 95 and 97 had beautiful lake and cliff views. A big plus was the wifi. Very strong and easy to connect! It is off the main road a bit so most people appear to be from the area getting away for a few days. If you are not in a big rush, don't miss this place.

For Lewis and Clark State Park: Had planned to stay one night, but was so nice stayed two. Had full hook up. Park staff exceptional and there were many nice little touches throughout the campground that you usually don't see. Had our kayaks with us but it was too windy to kayak. Did some short hikes and had lots of R & R -0 had great hammock trees on our site. Even had wifi there! (Didn't try out the bathrooms)
