SS from CA

For East Totten Trail: Very quiet, clean COE campground right on the lake. Nice spacing between campsites. Very little shrubbery or trees for privacy. I didn’t use facilities, so can’t comment on them. But, overall, a great little campground overlooking the lake. I had initially reserved site #35, which was a beautiful little grassy spot in the non-electric Pike loop, with the lake 10’ from my door. But, it was so steep that even using 2 full sets of leveling blocks (3 level pyramids) on the lakeside of my camper van, I was still over 3” off level. Hard to even get into the van without pulling myself in. Pros: > right on the lake > if you are in the Walleye loop (electric) or the non-lakefront sites in the Pike loop (non-electric), sites are nice & level > room for slideouts > good Verizon signal Cons: > a few of the waterfront sites in the Pike loop (non-electric) are very steep & even though they are listed as RV/tent sites would probably be better for campers without refrigerators that require more level sites (the non-lakefront Pike loop sites were more level) > there are only a few trees for shade (this may change for some of the sites as some of the smaller trees mature) I’d definitely stay here again!

For East Totten Trail: LOVE LOVE LOVE this campground. Nice level sites with picnic tables and fire ring. Sites are well spaced from each other. Pit toilet that is sparkling clean, grassy areas well maintained. Electricity only, but portable water available in campground and nice dump station with flush water just before you get to highway across from gas station. Loved it so much I returned a week later for another 5 days and plan to return again soon. Each time I stayed in a lakeside site. Views cannot be beat! $20 or $10/nt with Senior Pass.

For East Totten Trail: Good level sites and big rig friendly. Some sites have concrete pads and others are gravel. Good space between campsites. Each site has picnic table, fire ring, patio. Sites are electric only 30 amp. Central dump and water fill station. Boat ramp and fish cleaning station. Playground. Many sites right next to water and overlooking lake. We stayed here in a 40 foot motorhome. Also, restaurant and gas station nearby.
