For Smith Falls State Park: I stayed 5-25-2025. Nice little CG just 1/2m paved walkway hike to Smith Falls, the highest waterfalls in NE at 65’. Sites are near the river on grass. No hookups. A little pricey for boondocking sites if you are an out of state resident. I paid $15 for the site and $14 for a state park day pass, so it was $29 a night. But, it was quiet and I enjoyed my stay even with the light rain keeping me inside. I have Verizon and had just enough coverage to stream low-res video using my cell booster. They did have toilets and pay showers, but I did not check them out, so cannot comment. The gravel road back to the campground was over 3 miles of fairly severe washboard.

For Smith Falls State Park: The Bad: 4 miles of dirt/gravel roads. No electric. The Good: great parks workers. Good size lots and nice waterfall. Clean modern showers and rest rooms. Tree shade at @ 25% of the sites. Bonus: Cedar Fire wood sold in the store, very aromatic.

For Smith Falls State Park: Camping $8 per person, $8 park entrance, total $24 for quiet (no generators allowed) campground. Plenty of tent sites, limited RV parking. No hookups, but nice bathrooms, with coin-op showers. Beautiful hike up a small canyon to Nebraska's largest waterfall.
