For Cottonwood - Two Rivers SRA: Where do I begin? The sites are parallel parking pads with your RV's back side facing the road. Unfortunately, the power pole is on the door side, so a fairly long power cord is needed. There are 3 sources of water: one is in the center of the common area so you'll need 200' of hose, or a bucket brigade; the second is next to the road at the host's site but we were denied access because it was forbidden to block traffic; otherwise, you'll find fresh water at the sole dump site about 1/2 mile away. Also a park pass is required, $8.00/day in May, 2021. Worst state park encountered in the 4 years we have been camping. Find another campground unless staying for one night.

For Cottonwood - Two Rivers SRA: Parallel parking. Left side faces road. Right side faces out. Fire rings, picnic-tables and electric at campsite. Come with a gull fresh water and empty black and gray tanks. One dump site for all campgrounds. This campground is next to river and lots of tall cottonwood trees. Nice playground and a couple of public toilets and water sites.

For Cottonwood - Two Rivers SRA: I had scheduled to stay 4 nights. I arrived to find that the campground sites consisted of a pad connected length wise to the camp ground road way, similar to parallel parking. For some sites, it was not an issue as the doorways faced the river and provide a nice view. However, my doorway opened to the road. I was unable to set up my awning or outdoor grill, etc, and had to be very careful about when I opened my door or allowed my dogs to exit my camper. My picnic table was down a small hill behind my camper. There was a LARGE very dead tree immediately off my parking pad. I asked if another site was available and was told that there were none. As I walked the campground, I picked up trash until I realized that it was everywhere, including a lot of broken glass. I realize this is a densely used park, however, it would seem that the upkeep of the park would be a priority, it clearly was not. So much so, that it presents unacceptable hazards to campers. I stayed one night and went to the park office to speak to them, showed them a picture of the large dead tree and explained that, should it fall, it could kill someone (me, if I stayed). I explained that I did not want to remain in that site. They thanked me, and wrote down the information on a post it note and stated they would pass it on to the maintenance crew and that there were plans in the future to do some tree work. I asked for a refund, for the remaining 3 nights. They stated that they had a no refund policy. I left and stayed at Walmart, a much better value. Additionally, please be aware that an additional 5 dollar per day fee will be charged as a daily entry fee. (Or you can pay an annual $30 fee) It is a shame, as the area is very pretty and could be a very nice park.

For Cottonwood - Two Rivers SRA: Worst night camping ever! I do realize it was the night of July 3, but come on... The camping sites at this SP are set up for nearly maximum density. We arrived at the SP around 8:30. The ranger at the guard station was pleasant but was smoking while giving me directions. The campsite was in the Goldenrod area of the campground in which there are 55 camping sites, 2 rest rooms and one water station. By 10:55 the children screaming while playing finally stopped, adults were also too loud - clearly 'quiet time' was not observed.
