For Sun Retreats Cape May Wildwood: Well run well-maintained Campground. However it was super crowded, very noisy and had the feeling of being on the street in Brooklyn. If you enjoy this sort of thing then it’s your go to place. As for us it’s just a little too much

For Sun Retreats Cape May Wildwood: Prior reviews are all pretty old and certainly do not tell the true story about this campground. It is now a Sun Resort and while there a large number of seasonal sites their are plenty of transient sites. Ample space between most sites with sections that provide some shade. This is our fourth extended stay and we plan to continue to spend our summers here. Do not be swayed with many of the “older” reviews.

For Sun Retreats Cape May Wildwood: The space was a good size. AT&T barely worked here with Weboost and not at all without. Our Verizon worked well. It’s Tuesday after holiday weekend and the dumpsters are over flowing. Sites near to me and roadways are littered with garbage and despite numerous park employees passing, the trash is left behind. The grassy area in front of my rig has become a pond from rain and 24 hours later does not seem to be receding. We pull a fifth wheel and I follow in a car. We were charged $10.00 per night for the extra vehicle.

MN

For Sun Retreats Cape May Wildwood: Really poor campground, not what you should expect voor this price and in particular not at a KOA. Within an hour we had been on 3 different sites (too small, poop in firering, pieces of glass on the ground). Golfcarts are everywhere (on full speed). But, friendly staff at reception (helps a tiny bit). Please go somewhere else.

For Sun Retreats Cape May Wildwood: Where to start. Awful. Not even close to the "KOA" experience expected, or what I am familiar with from other KOA sites. Bathrooms were filthily, bring your own toilet paper and cleaning supplies. On multiple occasions during our stay, none of the stalls had any toilet paper, and that persisted for days. Campsite was littered with bottle caps, straws, tramped down leaves, small bits of paper, as were most of the campsites around me. Dumpster bins were full, overflowing, and nearly hidden by the pile of garbage. Worse, we left to go sightseeing for the day and upon our return at 11PM, everything in our camp was gone. Folding chairs, grill, towels, they even took the leveling blocks. Never in my 20 years of camping have I ever had anything stolen while out of the day. They took the entire 'campsite'! WTH? Power is marginal, more like 100-105V, so if you have sensitive appliances in your RV that could be an issue. Site also has many seasonal sites, many looking pretty shabby. This is not a KOA. KOA should be embarrassed to have their name attached. If the cost was 1/4 to 1/2 of their current rates, I might give them two stars, as thats would I would expect at that price. I couldn't stay, and left early forfeiting the rest of my trip to move elsewhere. I don't mind rustic campgrounds, but this wasn't rustic, it was rundown with very poor service and maintenance by management. It also says something about the people that stay here. Who doesn't flush after using the toilet. At one point my son went into the bathroom stalls, and all were full and not flushed. Not clogged, just not flushed. Perhaps a joke by a a small group of young campers? Check out TripAdvisor and read the 1 to 3 star ratings, pretty much sums it up. I wish I had gone there to read them first before booking. Very disappointed in KOAs decision to add this campground to their roster.
