Red Rover

For KOA Holiday Philadelphia South: Spent night here in early March while heading south to warm weather! Late check in, everything was there waiting for us, staff was great the next morning. Easy access off 95, would stay again, two thumbs up!

For KOA Holiday Philadelphia South: June, 2017. Has been converted to KOA, no longer Good Sam Club. Adequate for an overnight stay; as others have commented, parking pads are gravel and spaces are narrow & tight, but bathhouse & laundry facilities are clean & well maintained. Proximity to Philadelphia is the primary asset, if not for that, would be too pricey.

For KOA Holiday Philadelphia South: Good to fair... safe, some resident sites, good location for Philly, good utilities, snowy cable, ... very tight spaces and roads, close quarters x 10, ... in heavy rain the ground holds water in large puddles on the sites... poor drainage, mostly grass and gravel sites. Visited in a Motorhome towing.

JP

For KOA Holiday Philadelphia South: what a gem this campground is! On non-traffic days, it probably is 15 minutes away, but it usually took us closer to 30. Regardless, it was fabulous for visiting Philadelphia. We generally stay in State Parks, so our expectations are for nature, quiet, and darkness. For a private campground, this was very nice. The sites are tight and every morning at 7am, a Home School family made bacon and quietly discussed their day. Since we were up early everyday, we went to bed early. I had to put dark towels over the windows to block the light, which is not unusual. The showers were clean, with plentiful hot water, push button style, but the water pressure everywhere was the best I have ever seen in a campground! The laundry was reasonable priced, $2.75 for a washer and $1.00 for more than enough time to dry a mixed load with towels! We would definitely stay here again.

anathema

For KOA Holiday Philadelphia South: It is a swamp. Literally. The ground from the time we got there was wet and sludge-like, like the septic was broken somewhere. daily, the rude owner would drive up and down the aisles and dump stone down, which wasn't even clean fill stone! There was gray water and mud inches deep. The playground was a deathtrap, the game room was three ancient units always turned off and they locked everything but the bathrooms when they left at 9. Propane was expensive, electricity was not only 2o CENTS PER KWH!! but I'm pretty sure was read wrong since my 30 amp rv with 2 tvs used more power than my 200 amp service home does in a month by almost double. (300 dollars). The picnic tables are half rotten, there are no activities of any kind, most of the office staff treats you like a vagrant because the park is mostly used for oil workers temporary housing and it seemed the owner would walk through and evict a few people every week to make room for bigger rvs with higher rates. The EPA should investigate this place, as should his local fie department for health code and ground contamination. Utterly the worst place we ever camped.

Cheri

For KOA Holiday Philadelphia South: We stayed here for 3 nights to visit Philadelphia. We were in overflow so the site was not very good but their regular sites are nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The showers and laundry were very clean. It is an easy drive to Philadelphia, groceries stores, and local seafood restaurants.

For KOA Holiday Philadelphia South: This is the fourth time I stayed here. It's clean with nice people. It's the closest CG to Philly.
