For Old Cedar Campground: We were scheduled to camp here in a fifth wheel from July 15 to July 31. However, our tow vehicle was stolen and we have no way of getting to New Jersey. We called the campsites we were staying at for the remainder of the year and cancelled our reservations. ALL of the campgrounds (18 in total) refunded our deposits in full EXCEPT for Old Cedar Campground. When I made the reservation, I checked the cancellation provisions under the "Reservation" section of their website; while there was information on the cancellation policy for 7 day stays there, there was nothing about a non-refundable deposit on stays longer than 14 days. The cancellation policy for stays of 14 days was under the "Site Map and Policies" section of their website and was different than that under "Reservations". Why have cancellation policies in two different places. Clever, sneaky, dishonest way to steal peoples deposits from them. Just one other thing that this campground does that is dishonest - I can't imagine anyone selling their integrity for $150 but I was proven wrong. You can judge for yourself whether you want to do business with a company that operates like this. I know I will never stay with them again.

For Old Cedar Campground: Staff very unfriendly and not very motivated. Campsites are very poorly marked, very tight with trees or other campers, no assist with finding correct site. Staff very prompt to tell us we were in wrong site, telling us other campers coming into that site, WHICH they did not. All this could have been avoided with golf cart escort to site, which they used to tell us we had to move. Upon check in, staff unfriendly, won’t stay there again.

For Old Cedar Campground: Staff VERY unfriendly, campsites VERY narrow, shaded. Campsites not Clearly marked, staff too lazy to guide us to site. Made us move after we were all setup, telling us wrong site, other campers coming into Next site, which never happened. IF THEY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN OFF THEIR BUTTS TO GUIDE US TO OUR SITE AS QUICKLY AS THEY TOLD US WE WERE INCORRECT IN OUR PARKING WE WOULD HAVE ENJOYED OUR STAY. Trees make getting into site very difficult, other sites very close to other campers.

For Old Cedar Campground: I found this campground as a last-minute overnight stop. Although I called at 6 o’clock when many others were already closed a very friendly Sarah said yes they had space. It was dark when I arrived so I didn’t see much but the bath houses were close and the sites were level and easy for my truck. Many different types of camping vehicles were here and they have spaces for just about any size. There is a pool but it was too cool when I was here. Nice playground for the kids and a couple of fishing lakes. The showers are preset for temperature but pleasantly warm. They have laundry facilities. I came in October so they were getting ready for a big Halloween do. All around a very nice campground but not a resort so if you’re looking for high end this is not it. It’s a campground and therefore inexpensive.

For Old Cedar Campground: We found this CG several years ago and usually spend a couple weekends a year here. Very friendly staff. CG is 'off the beaten path' just a bit, but not that hard to find. roads are good in the area. NO TRAIN!! The turn into the CG off Foote Road is a bit tight but we managed easy enough in our rig. We stay on the 'Fence' where the majority of the short term sites are. Pull Through, but you need to unhook. Sewer, Water Electric 30&50. No cable, no paved pad, grass sites. Ample width and then some. Fire rings, Picnic Table, no Cable. (not an issue for us) Looks like satellite should work. Property adjoins a local winery, decent wines and music on Saturday night, there is a path, but we drive, it is just around the corner. Decent pool although we probably won't use it this time. There is an abandoned RR bed that you can getr on and walk or ride. We've not done it yet, but we likely will. half hour to Cowtown, half hour to Berlin Farmers Market half hour to three Sporting Clays ranges. This is a CAMPGROUND, it is NOT a resort, there is n Hot Tub, Gym, Massage Room, Tennis Court etc. Build a fire, toast a marshmallow, drink a glass of wine or a beer and enjoy yourself.
