Bob on the Rocks

For Fallsview Municipal Park: Having stayed here I can now review it beyond, “it’s CAN$ 25 for a serviced site” (which it still is, though note, cash only). Two sections of the campground, an upper fully serviced section and a lower unserviced one. The lower seems to be used by salmon fishers and those with boats. The upper part is where we stayed. Not particularly private but the sites are wide enough for any of the rigs. Sites are flat. Electrical and water connections are generally well placed. A friendly crowd when we were there. Clean washrooms and free showers. The one (as far as I could see) is very friendly but a bit overworked (so bring toilet paper with you to the toilets). Not a lot to do in Bishops Falls or the campground (other than fishing the Exploits River), but a central location for exploring central Newfoundland.

Bob on the Rocks

For Fallsview Municipal Park: I haven’t stayed here, but $25 for serviced site in prime location for exploring Newfoundland or getting across the island makes it a four. NOTE reserve by phone (no website or email) Joe Thomas 709-290-9016.
